    Not so bad cutting up a common '67 Mustang but cutting up a Johan Maverick - yikes!

    I used (2) bodies Tim and filed and sanded the separate sections to fit one another. I have tried in the past using a jewlers saw with not much success, it is challenging.

    Inspired by Dennis Collins' Shelby find. Mine will likely have a lift off front clip in lieu of tilt but we shall see.

    Nice work so far. I always thought 1/32 scale should have become dominate for models with it's link to slot cars.

    This book is a good guide to the model year changes.

    There is very little difference between a '65 and '66 Mustang. The '65s were released mid-year 1964 that is why there are sometimes referred to as '64-1/2. The new '65 Mustang was used as the pace car for the 1964 Indy 500. The Revell kit would be the easiest option to build the car.
