  1. I use Evergreen v-grove siding to build this radiator. Add angle, c-channel or flat strips around the perimeter to finish. Thicker square rod can be added at the top for the header tank. https://evergreenscalemodels.com/collections/020-50mm-opaque-white-v-groove-siding/products/2025-030-opaque-white-v-groove-siding
  2. Great pictures. Love the Falcon, anymore shots of it?
  3. They are called 180 degree headers. Here is a built up of the Mustang kit I purchased several years ago, ended up reselling it.
  4. One with a bit more pizzazz.
  5. Think I will enjoy watching this build come together.
  6. The white plastic hides a lot Pete, primer will reveal all!
  7. That is a great looking PE set Marco, impossible to find I am sure. Here are tires I am using at the rear. They are 15" but I managed to stretch them over my 16" wheels. https://www.scaleproduction.de/product_info.php?info=p1520_15--slicks.html
  8. The kit parts for the radiator and brake ducts (on the red body) are lacking. Especially if I want to display the car with the front clip off, so I went to work.
  9. Nice build Carl.
  10. Very nice Tim.
  11. The body has no rain gutter to speak of. If you look closely at the 1:1 you can see they are present. Using .020" rod I created my own. After glue had setup I lightly sanded them to reduce their projection and give them a more square profile. Added 28 ga. wire mounting pins to the auxiliary lights and drilled corresponding holes in the hood again like the 1:1. This allows me to display the car with or without the auxiliary lights. Also made protective covers for when the lights aren't in use.
  12. Impatiently waiting for this kit resin to be released.
  13. Impressive project Ian.
  14. Very nice Bruce.
  15. Nice looking race team.
  16. I bought this punch and so happy I did. The sizes indicated are pretty much what they would be in scale.
  17. The Hasegawa 037 kit is excellent. I might have a spare kit I would let go if you are interested. Also have a Peugeot 205 Turbo. The NuNu Porsche 911 SCRS kit is due to be released very soon. I was working on converting the Fujimi kit to an SCRS when the NuNu kit was announced.
  18. I assume Italeri is releasing the Esci kit of the BMW 320 Gr.5 which I actually prefer over the Tamiya.
  19. Did a test, sanded off the molded spring detail and wrapped the shock body with wire. A nice improvement I think without having to scratch build the entire coil-over. Once the assembly is painted I will use the red coated wire to replicate the spring in lieu of the bare wire.
  20. The hood out of the box is flat and doesn't follow the curve of the cowl. To get the gentle curve in the hood and to hold that shape I cut a piece of aluminum sheet (roof flashing). After shaping it I superglued and clamped it to the underside. Nice gentle curve now.
  21. Thanks, I made the dolly and did a tutorial.
