  1. Thanks guys! I will miss this one for the shelf........but the trade from the person who commissioned it is too good! 1/12 Camaro (sealed original orange) EVEN up!!
  2. Is this the Tamiya kit or the Revell Mark? Looks great either way!
  3. Looking forward to seeing your Countach Jordan, should be cool to see the different versions together in one build!
  4. I'll be building the 1/16 scale Fujimi Enthusiast 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach 5000 Q (the one with the White Lambo on the cover)
  5. Ok, I am in then.
  6. I have a 1/16 Lambo Countach 20th anniversary Enthusiast kit that is already started if that would be ok.......would give me a reason to finish it.
  7. Sure was fun Nick!! Added quite a few to the stash for not a lot of coins!
  8. HOLY WOW! That is just beautiful Walter!
  9. Duplicolor Self Etching Primer.....nothing gets thru that stuff!
  10. I guess being that I am building one of these at the moment, I should probably join the CARtoons forum.
  11. Thanks Kerry! Man is it cold here!! Sunny and in the 80's in the Bahamas while there! 16 foot waves (!) on the way home!!! Hated to leave the beautiful weather......... ..........back to the grind! and of course building! Be back on this soon!
  12. Thanks Justin! Goin' on vacation for a week....but when I get back.....I'll be on it! Thanks Jim! That was what I was hoping for too, the chrome parts from the kit had issues due to age so I had to sand and file to clean them up anyways so.......Alclad!
  13. Thanks Ken! You should do that......any car guy should have a CARtoon for the shelf!
  14. Thanks Branndon! I will continue on the engine work and should have some more pics sometime soon.
  15. Ahhh the times we have! and the shtuff we come up with!!
  16. I also have the 1st run of this kit.....got it on ebay for $20 shipped. It is pretty rare these days to get the 1st edition though. I think I was just lucky at the time.
  17. Kerry! Gotta make some plug boots for both ends anyways...... I have got some more parts in the purple pond right now removing the old brush-on paint. Then off to the paint booth (tomorrow!)
  18. LOL! Nope, I dont have the plug wires on yet silly! Here's some pics of the headers and valve covers (done with a MUCH better camera!)
  19. Thanks Ben! Just Alcladed the headers and valvecovers..............
  20. Here you go. Yesterday and today's progress on the engine........still a LONG way to go! The headers were a pain to get fitted and built in the true CARtoons style but now are ready for paint The holes and ruffstuff on the front of the blower are from items removed from the 1st build on the engine.......they will be re-installed and detailed. Also, BTW.....I (wet)colorsanded the car body again and re-coated with the aqua. Pics:
  21. It's ok Branndon. I have seen the belt positioned both ways. So it is right either way it is done! *Will have pics soon.......tonight I finished building the one header (silver solder primaries into a tube collector.) Needs Alclad yet.
  22. Thanks for posting the picture Glenn.......I thought I had seen it routed that way in the past. That was why I originally routed that way. No biggie though, like I said a few posts up....I re-routed the belt. Thanks for the support guys! Just wanted to build something REAL FUN!! Currently I am working on the engine while the Seaside Aqua is curing....then on to the White (then BMF)!
  23. That would be from White Lightning Carl. An oldie but a goodie!!
  24. Thanks for the heads up! Got her fixed now. Thank you Frank!
