  1. Hey Gary! Thanks for following along. As of tonight, both sides are identical!! I am so relieved to be at this point.
  2. Hey thanks Andy! Just a little something different......
  3. Thanks Guys! I'm having a little fun with this build......I like being "out of the box" Some progress pics (sorry for the poor lighting)
  4. Thank you Shane. I am glad you like it. ....I had been wanting an NSX model for awhile and it just appeared on a table at a swapmeet..... Like it was meant to happen!
  5. That's right! I am building a 1/12 scale 69 Camaro Super GT Series Touring car. I picked up the 69 Camaro Street Machine kit as a partially built gluebomb for FREE at a local show/swap, the fenders and quarters were from the 1/12 scale Doyusha BMW 3.5 CSL (also a built model not complete) Thanks to Casey for this model!! (Which I pounced on in the Trades section.) Wanted to do something "out of the box" what with all this Foose stuff going on and such......so I came up with the idea to graft the widebody onto the Camaro, the wheels and hood I sourced from a DUB city toy Mustang I found at Walmart for $9.00..........so.... so far I have $9.00 into this build, and the rest will be an ongoing test of my patience. So far this has been challenging to say the least!! There will be extensive amounts of Aerodynamics added to the body and it is still up in the air if I am going to leave the hood opening and add an engine or just do it curbside.......if I do add the engine it will be a 502 c.i. twin turbo. This mess is where I am at currently: Think this somewhat (only Camaro) for the finished body design \/
  6. "Kennyboy" refers to my first name.....my friends call me Kenny......and the first three letters of my last name....Boyer. The avatar is what I am obsessing over at the time.
  7. Still watching Gary! Loving every post of it! Dont worry about the rear hatch......it'll just come to you in an Aha moment!
  8. Beautiful job on this David! Do I spot a little Jada wheel influence?? Wheels, Body, Engine.....everything is spot-on! Excellent build sir!!!
  9. Thanks so much Nick! I felt right at home there......just a great bunch of people! Hopefully I'll have more to share next month.
  10. Thank you so much for the kind words guys!
  11. Thanks James! When I got them, this was the intention for them.
  12. She's all done guys. As stated in the build WIP, added the brakes from the Enzo kit, made the rear engine cover, added the Volk TE37 wheels, and painted everything else. Color is HOK Majik blue. A pic of it with the "stable" at a recent show.
  13. You should Austin! That was the color setup I was going to do but, at the time I was also building my FnF Supra which was of course Orange......so......I went with the Blue.
  14. Thanks for the reminder Bob! It is done.....will put it in Under Glass later.
  15. Just awesome work so far on this!! Treat every part of the build like it is the only part you will stare at when done. .....those calipers are amazing!
  16. Man Jeremy! I really love the red one!! This is gonna be cool!
  17. Beautiful work Jonathan! Love the orange!
  18. I will DEFINITELY be there! With some of my own eye candy.......
  19. Sweet color Matt! LOVE the LFA!! Looks just like HOK Majik Blue......one of my favorites from them! Just painted my NSX with it. (Single layer color then clear over it BTW.)
  20. Sorry guys....put it on hold for a little bit.....gotta catch up with other builds. Always knew this build was going to be long term though.
  21. Just a magnificent model John!! Supremely well done!!
  22. Great work being done on this so far Gary! I am watching for sure!!
