Hey Ben, One of my favorite clear coats to use is Rustoleum Lacquer clear......(Has a Black chair on the can.) You can get it at Menards, it is cheap, you get a lot in the can, and best of all after the mist coat.... it lays out so smooth!

Looking good Michel! Bo Zolland comes up with some really cool stuff!!!
Here is another one of these that my friend Kerry is working on.
It will be cool to see your take on it as you get farther along.
That interior is the best I have seen for this kit......it is usually so lackluster (because of all the gray) but you have brought so much life to it!
Great job Adam!!
I am SO hoping when you get to the engine compartment that you are going to make a solder based turbo for it......the kit turbo is a real afterthought, which on a turbo car is a real bummer. You probably have already seen this though.
Not to thread jack, but here is an example of what a different turbo can do for an engine build........\/
Great to see you and talk cars Ben! Glad you joined.......it really is a great club!
And the Shelby is a virtual partshouse for my '57 build! Thanks so much for the help!!
You too Nick! Yep, I really enjoy coming to the AMG meetings monthly!
I really love what you have done with this kit so far Henry!
With all the problems this kit has, you have so far turned it into something to be extremely proud of!
Keep up the amazing work my friend.
The color is called World Rally blue Erik.
Rustoleum Cobalt blue Metallic is pretty close. There is a vendor on Ebay that sells it in the bottle for airbrushing though.......it is the real auto paint.
