You are doing great work here Michael! (in K.I.T.T. voice) Seriously though.....love what you have done so far!

I would like to say that now we are even Kerry.....but you know that you plugged WAY more ideas into my head! (I am still working on my boat but the wiring on the engine and fuel lines and injection......) I am busy on it we'll just say that. Looking forward to the race! Oh yeah......they aren't real.

This looks beautiful!! I am a Ferrari freak and this is DEFINITELY on my list to pick up!

Looking forward to seeing the pictures Andy! Congrats to you both!

You could do the engine/trans from a Revell 911 Turbo on the cheap but the all wheel drive is another story. (I would probably use the drivetrain from a Skyline kit for that!)

The pro touring is my favorite!!! Great job on the scratch building/modifying! -

Henry J Twin Turbo - Didn't see that coming..........
Kennyboy replied to Codi's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
Outstanding Tim!!! That engine is just magnificent! Love the direction you are going with the Henry J too!! -
I want to do it in 1/16th!! I do have the Fujimi 1/16 Countach waiting for paint. Hmmmm

Looking good Ryan. You should try to find some 1/24 scale Countach wheels for this. The kit wheels will no doubt be too small + the wrong offset. The Countach had very large tires/deep wheels.

Been trying to give equal time to both this and the '57 Speedster that will pull it..... Got some more body work done on the boat. Had to build in the back area with Evergreen around the engine compartment due to how rough it was from sectioning height and length from the Scarab. These photos are after the third fill of Tamiya white filler, filed, shaped and then wetsanded with 400 grit. The windscreen was made using the convertible roof from the Saleen Speedster. It is getting there!! Slow but sure.....

Been following this......love what you have done so far! What are the wheels from? I do like them.

I have been trying to get back on this lately.....I was having a big mental block on the chassis. All wheel drive was not going to work on a '57 chassis and the engine just would not fit transversely. I ended up (with discussions with other individuals) going with a custom Ferrari chassis pan. The front of the pan is from the Testarossa and the rear section(s) is/are from the F40. The rear differential is from the Shelby Series 1 as originally discussed, the front engine cradle frame (not pictured) is from some R35 GTR parts I had in the parts box. I ended up cutting in the "window" for the rear differential so it would not be covered up in the end result.....the engine/trans will have a similar treatment. Also, because of the ODD shaped fenderwells on the front and rear of the '57 I had to do some custom inner fenders which took some time to do being they were going to have to resemble a prism effect to fit properly. This is what I came up with so far......sorry for the long hiatus!
