  5. I seem to remember our conversation on this very design......good to see it coming to life!! Looks great so far!
  6. This was done by spraying the seatback with matte black and then stretching a piece of silk sheer material over it and spraying metallic gray thru the material. -Ken
  7. I like the second set too! With the chrome stripped of course......maybe like a matte black with a red stripe. Just an idea.....
  8. x2!
  9. That red Fairlady z kit is RARE!!!!
  10. On an other note though, I wouldn't mind seeing the "other" yellow car in the driveway Kerry.
  11. Great builds Joe!
  12. Thank you Mike! Ok, so it has been a while since I posted up any progress.......I am waiting on a few parts for the engine, so in the interim I decided to work on the trailer a little. The trailer is scratchbuilt from Evergreen 1/4" channel. Happy with the fit of the boat at this time. Some leafsprings are on the way for the trailer (THANK YOU to Ruben!!!) The wheels for it are the wheels from the Shelby Series 1 (stripped the chrome and repainted satin silver.) Hey here are a few pics!
  13. I love your build style Paul! So lifelike.......excellent!
  14. Outstanding work on this Paul! Love the ghost flames!
  15. Hey Gary.....quick tip for your radiator hoses.... .......use a piece of solder to bend to shape then cover it with a piece of shrink tubing and heat to shrink. Looks just like the real thing with "clamps" added.
  16. Thank you Andrew. And thank you Andy! I have made a little more progress but no pics yet.......the wife has me doing "summer tasks" ......"Build this....build that..."
  17. Great work Michael!!! I have always wanted to do this with some of my diecast cars.......so I am watching with piqued interest!!
  18. This was well said Kerry........I am so sorry for your loss my friend. I miss my dad every time I build something, every time I fabricate something, and every time I think about fishing. Just to name a few......... Prayers to you and your family. Be well my friend.
  19. Absolutely beautiful work so far Tom! I love the interior......the carpet looks so real!
  20. Looks like Revell did a great job on the molding of this kit.......but I am sure you deserve most of the praise Tamas. She is a real beauty!!
  21. Love watching your 86's come to life Jonathan! Looking great so far!
  22. LOVE it Ray!! Sweet custom. It all fits just right!!
  23. Looks great Kerry!!! So seamless! Question....was there a decal for the fuel filler??? That's the only thing I could come up with....
  24. Hey Michel, you could put some pegasus 23" sleeves on there and then you can insert just about anything into them + you can control the offsets then. BTW, The body looks awesome!!
