  1. No doubt! I'm feelin' it already!
  2. I am so sorry to hear about your injury by a careless drunk driver Ronald. You are an artist and this is your craft, it shows in your amazing eye for detail. I look forward to seeing you move on with this build. I myself am building the 1/16 scale Lamborghini 25th anniversary Countach. Good luck on a speedy recovery and getting back to what you like to do. -Ken
  3. Started Bondo today! Gonna change the look of the car a lot!! No pics yet though.......wait til it looks like something.
  4. The lines on this car are just magnificent!! Every body mod you made makes complete sense......the flow from front to back is just perfect!!
  5. Great looking build! The patina is very realistic! Awesome interior too!
  6. Looked at some pictures of mine, my '85 had the chip guard on it too.
  7. at Kerry! Shoudn't be too bad on price though. It will be available from Jimmy Flintstone once I get the body done on my end. Looking for a 1950 Oldsmobile business coupe for the roof, my roof is too low right now compared to the 1:1.
  8. Thanks again Carl! Just hope when I get to paint with this, I can get it as glossy as one of yours!
  9. Thank you so much Tony for your support!
  10. Thanks Kerry! And thanks again for all of the help!
  11. This weekend's progress: Full extension of the hood forward 5/8"(!) and upward rounding of the front grille area. I've got my work to do on the sides of the car now, so that will clean up the "waviness".
  12. Kerry I'd say it worked out pretty good for the first time with a lighter to plastic This weekend's progress with some wheel mockups: Next will be making the side body lines and side scoops, then to the Bondo stage!
  13. Very nice work on a nightmare of a kit Dave. The scratchwork is VERY impressive! The Miura is quite probably the sexiest Lambo they ever built!
  14. Yet another great paint job for you Carl and a very clean build too!! Looks like Pagan gold....just a guess.
  15. Just beautiful paint Carl!!
  16. Hey thanks Carl! Should have some new pics later today. Been fine tuning the front end and just finished making a new hood out of Evergreen, was going to just add the front to the old hood but that would leave a seam. So I just cut a new one and heated it to the proper bend and added the old scoop. The new hood is a full 5/8" longer in the front. Just need to make the new support ledge for the hood to sit on in the front. Made a big difference in the looks department!
  17. Man Brett! You are doing just awesome work here! Cant wait to see Sally!
  18. Ah ok Zee, I am about to start filling and shaping with Bondo filler, when I do this step I will be adding more to the areas that need it. That area is definitely on my radar. Thanks!
  19. Thank you Bill and Ira both! Today I made some good progress on the front end, decided (with some coaxing) to extend the hood farther forward toward the front + with some help I was able to get the roundness to the front grille area that was very much needed. Now the work begins to add on to the hood to fill the hole that was made........
  20. Good point Skip! The chip guard on the lower rockers.....you can mimic this look by masking and playing around with the psi on your compressor (testing on a different piece of course.) The one time when you want excessive orange peel!
  21. Oh ok, still have another round of filling/ shaping to do. The next round will get more of the body look down pat. I will be adding the side body line below the beltline that goes up to the front fender vents, the side scoops before the rear wheels, and the trunk area shaping (which will include the taillight part of the quarters.)
  22. I have the Muscle Tuner 350Z and the Celica still in the box downstairs. This was a great find on your part!! ( two months ago now...)
  23. I don't understand Zee. Not sure what you mean. ?
