I think no one here is against the restoring of tooling to bring back long lost kits, but many question the endless recycling of automotive kits one can find in the secondary market for cents on the dollar. I'm wondering if they do the same with the sci-fi kits. Looking at the video, the car guys are in the minority at Round-2, and probably have to put on a pretty good fight to push something through, cuz the green light for the 4dr. Impala retool came from?!......

More photo reports are being added, so keep on checking the IPMS Germany site the coming days for updates. http://ipmsdeutschland.de/news.html

Ah yes....googled it and it's indeed a Pony 2, I guess the "spartan" look of the build threw me off.

Think it's a reissue...

Moebius 1966 F-100 Styleside.....My Take..

Not only that, but in a production environment it's not impossible that someone on the packaging line, clips of the wrong parts! -
Moebius 1966 F-100 Styleside.....My Take..
Luc Janssens replied to thatz4u's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yeah...got one and the regular bed earlier this week too, both look great and glad that they stopped clipping off all those extra (not needed) parts, which are remains from a not so efficient tool design, but they're still a young company Can't wait to see what's up next from Dave M. -

On the IPMS page this memo was placed... "Welcome to the new decade! As promised, there is the Revell News for 2020. News tools are limited as Revell invests more resources in the preschool sector - hopefully something will come back. However, there are some interesting reissues, form variations, form takeovers (in the Revell diction "New Tools") and collaborations. In any case, I have already selected two or three models for purchase. Vehicle fans will likely find something to buy in the new Jaguar E-Type or T2 Bulli. Have fun browsing: Revell News 2020" Which means that they're investing in product to get kids and youngsters into building experience, I often wonder what Lego has which model companies don't have.

Past midnite here, so 2019 just went into the history books, which for me personally is a good thing. So we're entering the roaring twenties 21st century style now?!

Revell Land Rover Series 3 109 inch
Luc Janssens replied to GeeBee's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
And a great job you did Chris. If I ever buy this kit or one of it's future siblings, I"m gonna mix it with the old ex-Esci LR, this will give me a better looking rolling chassis, call me crazy but love the greasy bits PS: apparently a few errors slipped into the instruction sheet, please see link https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235061565-revell-land-rover-series-iii-124/page/2/ -
According to various sources this kit is aimed towards sci-fi builders/collectors/hoarders, and not really a gamble as that's where the money is. So while not aimed at us, I'm sure like me, a couple of other automotive kit enthusiasts will pick it up, as for pipe dreams for automotive builders/collectors....well dogs like the newly released '69 Yenko Camaro kinda makes me fear, that the cat litter guy thinks of us more in terms of "there's a sucker born every minute" than a group with buying power. So while pessimistic, maybe 2020 will prove me wrong....
