about the '62 Mopar kits, there are several companies who re-release vintage kits in an attempt to sell nostalgia, these kits are just that nostalgia and people who buy such kits, in a way try to relive the moment building a kit they had a a kid, happy non worrying times! I'm sure if the tooling is usable, plastic will flow through the old gates, to form something which is bigger then it really is. Luc

As others said in this tread, I too prefer basing an all new '71-'72 (with a slight preference for the latter) Roadrunner on the '90s designed Amt/Ertl '71 Charger, but not holding my breath. Strange cuz if Google '72 Eldorado they all have those side "grilles" on the quarterpanel, or was that an option?

A question for the kit historians and Cadillac fans here. I have two Eldorado kits, both have the same box and kit number (C-211:200) but one has side trim and the other not, is one an early production the other late? Another oddity is that the box-art shows the car with a padded top, yet both models come without. Hoping for a good story

Don't think it will be a re-box cuz the stock-number is the same as the Revell Germany release, Hasegawa does import Revell kits, that's probably why their logo is on the display .
