  1. More work tonight. Rustied up turbo, and initial interior/dash paint.
  2. More frame work done. Need to add the angled axle brackets. Also thinking about using the highback buckets from the Transtar 4300 Eagle as well.
  3. WOW that’s really nice. As I build mine I look at others work for tips. Great job.
  4. Very nice work. Very life like.
  5. Thanks this kit for me like others in the AMT line has its own set of issues. The frame may be one of those. At least for me it does.
  6. Started my KW K123 today. Frame work today. As always a concern that the frame will go together unevenly. However I think this time it’s pretty level. As always I will look for reference pics online.
  7. MSRP for the 4070A is understandable. However if I go back the mid 1970’s when I was a yute in High School I used to shovel walks/driveways during snowstorms to save for my kits. I charged $3.00 per walk do 6 or 7 jobs a day and when it warmed up buy my kits and paints. I figure if I do 24 walks at $3.00 a pop I can get the kit.
  8. I am more of a semi truck, muscle car builder. However I was sent this by a good friend. It's a Revell Cadillac Escalade. Something I'd never think I'd ever want to build. The last time I ever built a SUV type of vehicle was a 1978 Ford Bronco back in the late 1970's. It's a bit of an intriguing kit as I consider these big one's either contractor's vehicle's or soccer mom/mom's taxi type of transportation. So at this point I determine which way to go on the build. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.
  9. This kit is gonna be great.
  10. Wow I am a happy boy. Can’t wait to get mine.
  11. Maybe. I can add that before dull coating it.
  12. Final engine work done. Will dullcoat it eventually.
  13. One can only hope. Painting may take a while with Winter upon us.
  14. Did some work on the turbocharger. Also worked on the headlights. I will weather the engine a bit more down the line. I love these kits.
