Nice cars! That Beetle is cool, couldn't get any lower, could it? Thanks for sharing the pics! -
I've talked to John Greczula, and asked about the General Lee , and the '73 Road Runner re-release, and I was assured that the General will have the correct body, and the Road Runner will have the correct dash, and decals (time to break out the credit card.... BIG TIME ). They are very adamant about putting out a great kit, and they are second to none about fixing a problem a modeler has with their product. I bought a kit that had a very warped chrome tree, and John resolved the problem so quickly, I thought I dreamed it! I give them an A+ for the work they are doing to make AMT/MPC a name worth buying!

Custom Hearse replied to tim boyd's topic in Model Cars
Stupid question #3: The louvers on the trunk; Are they separate small pieces, or, does the trunk lid come separate from the body? Love your work! I have 50 magazines in my stash, and my favorite articles are your builds. I love the kitbash ideas you show. Keep up the great work! P.S. Please say yes to question #2! -

White paint question
Custom Hearse replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks Dave. I wanted to see what would happen if I did spray Dupli-Color over the enamel (I figured like you said Dave, that if it wrinkled I' was gonna have to strip it anyway), so I used the tailgate that I painted (I've got 3 more to use if it goes bad). I sprayed 2 really light coats on it, and then waited about 15 minutes, and sprayed a heavy coat on it. It came out good, with no wrinkles whatsoever. So I taped up the body, and painted it the way (keeping my fingers crossed the whole time), and it came out good also. Thanks Dave and Steve for your help! I also painted the hood to see if the Testors Ultra clear will work o.k. on enamel. It looks like it was a success! -

White paint question
Custom Hearse replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I hadn't clearcoated it yet. It's been sitting in a box for awhile. It was white enamel. I've got got some Dupli-Color white lacquer I can use. The black is also enamel. Do I need to re-prime the white, or do you think I can spray the lacquer over the enamel? and also do you think there will be a problem using Testors Ultra Clearcoat over both paints? I've used the Testors on Dupli-color with no problem, but never on enamel.... Thanks for your input guy's! -
What causes white paint to turn yellowish? I have to re-paint my Dodge Magnum because the paint has yellowed, and I want to keep it from doing it again. What can I do to stop it?

No.... But since your a celebrity here, it'll reach out of the washer and drag you in kicking and screaming. -
Thanks Gregg! I like the work done on all the cars, but I was swayed by the detail added to the sedan. When does the voting end? I'd like to see how it comes out.

I voted for the green Ford sedan, but my vote didn't show up. It just say's "You have already voted in this poll". Can you fix it Gregg?
