Cool Camaro. I like the Cragars on it. I do have to point out though that the Cragars you have are the S/S, not the SS/T's. The S/S wheels are 5 spoke, and the SS/T's are a solid wheel. I do like the car, you did a great job on it! P.S. Where did you get those wheels from?

3 New Round 2 releases indicated as "New Tooling"
Custom Hearse replied to Bernard Kron's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Here's the answer I got back from John.... Hi Marshall, The body will be the same as what was in the '74 GTX kit. RC2 had removed all Road Runner related emblems and markings because they did not want to pay the licensing fee for the Warner Bros. character. We ARE paying the licensing fee and will be including the emblems on the decal sheet. Thanks, John Greczula AMT / MPC / Polar Lights / Auto World http://www.round2models.com http://www.autoworldhobby.com Man.... I CAN"T WAIT!!!! I have to say that John, Tom Lowe, Tony Karamitsos, and everyone at Round 2, are the BEST thing to happen to this hobby in years! -

I'll ask.... -
It's a start. I wish someone would come out with a complete kit of the van, like they did with the V.W. Best of luck with it, and keep us posted.

3 New Round 2 releases indicated as "New Tooling"
Custom Hearse replied to Bernard Kron's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I Have talked with John Greczula by e-mail, and this is what he said about the new General Lee kit: Hi Marshall, "The General will indeed have the "correct" body with flying buttress pillars and inset rear window (F&F body)." As for the phrase "all new tooling", it is in reference to the work they have done to correct the kits that AMT/Ertl issued. The following is an excerpt from his e-mail to me about the upcoming re-release of the MPC '74 Road Runner: "We are retooling the correct dash to put in the Roadrunner and the decal sheet will have three sets of original stripes available. Also, the chassis will be back to the proper dual exhaust configuration. (The Monaco police car is back to the proper single exhaust setup, too!)" Best, P.S. Good luck on your van project. John Greczula AMT / MPC / Polar Lights / Auto World http://www.round2models.com http://www.autoworldhobby.com I have to give John and all the people at Round 2 models kudos for fixing the problems that had plagued builders. I'm definitely looking forward to getting the '74 Road Runner!!!! -
Nice build! I used to own a '71 G.T. Torino. I have one question.... Did that taillight come with that kit? I wanted to build a copy of the Torino I used to own, and bought a Revell Muscle Series '70 Torino Cobra, but it has the split taillights, where as mine had the full width taillight like yours. Your Torino looks great!

Beautiful cars Tim! I love the dragster! Any history on it? Is the girl with her back to the camera the over all winner of the curved award? Thanks for sharing those with us! -
Beautiful work Bill. It's gonna be a winner! I don't know the first thing about airbrushes.... Never used one. I appreciate the pep talk you gave me though. I think I'll stick to the rattle cans though, much easier to work with (for me anyway ) Great work!
