  1. "McGee, don't open that closet" is a reference you'll get if you're into old-time radio.
  2. It will?
  3. Dali starred in this memorable commercial for the Datsun 610 wagon:
  4. Add to my request: A correctly-shaped '46 Chevy grille for the Galaxie Unlimited kits. To demonstrate why: Makes a nice custom piece too.
  5. From Christmas 1947: Holiday gratings from "Inspector" Lance Lawson of the Minnehapless Police!
  6. Merry Christmas to every one of you from every one of me!
  7. '58 Impala got here - in bubble wrap inside a boxful of styrofoam peanuts, which the USPS pummeled and left out in the rain, but it survived nonetheless. Seat inserts and top boot that appeared gold in the photos were actually silver, which looks way better to me. Also got two nice diecasts for Christmas from my partner - Welly '65 Impala Super Sport and Motor Max '57 Bel Air.
  8. Got a '63 Falcon convertible promo body with an unbroken windshield frame, very reasonable, to finally fix the promo I've got, and this is on its way - cheeeeep! Surprisingly straight for an acetate promo other than the rear panel; will grind it down to even it out a bit, and maybe modify the chassis to shorten the wheelbase so the rear wheels are better positioned in the openings (like I did on my '58 Nomad wagon promo). Anyone have a good original '58 issue kit rear bumper? Not sure why it didn't get bid up much, although the seller may have made a big mistake when he cut-and-pasted the description from one of his other models saying the car was missing two wheels and had decals all over it
  9. Meal ticket is what a gold-digger calls her rich boyfriend. (had to redo it)
  10. Put some jingle in your eggnog, or something - she sounds like she's having a ball! Theme from Santa Claus Conquers the Martians:

  12. Unfortunately the Starliner script for '61 was different from '60. An MCG photoetch set for the '61 Ford would be great - I'd be in for three of 'em.
  13. Somebody (Fireball Modelworks?) was making correct deluxe wheelcovers for the '71-'73 Cougar; anyone remember who?
  14. 'Tis the holiday season, so:
  15. So does anyone make photoetch or 3D printed Starliner scripts for the '61?
  16. "Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord, he is champing at the bit and all the drapes are in the store" sang the Fabulous Fay McKay in her drunk version of "The 12 Days of Christmas".
  17. Marronaise, eh - isn't that what Honey Boo Boo puts on her sammich?
