  1. Forums, yes, or Forae if you wanna go around speaking Latin.
  2. And we can use the AMT kit for unwarped bodies and hoods
  3. Justin, I'd throw in the '62 and '63 Dodge and Plymouth - large variety of drag and (for the Plymouth mostly) NASCAR versions possible.
  4. Went ahead and pre-ordered the '60. Looking forward to comparing it to the original!
  5. (finishing the above fragment) ...customized include Shoebox Fords, James Dean '49 Mercurys, and '53-'54 Chevy hardtops.
  6. Wonder if it was Wally and Eddie, or Curt and the Pharoahs?
  7. One I didn't make (otherwise it wouldn't be misspelled, duh!) but too good to let pass:
  8. And just in case Revell is extra cautious, here you go:
  9. How architectural models are unmade:
  10. Workplace receptionist said "Fine, get busy - here's a shovel!"
  11. This '59 Ranchero is on its way; front bumper's bad (which kept the bids relatively low) but I have a good one from the Ranchero I'm kitbashing with the Revell Skyliner. Going to replace the bumper, clean it and that's it. * * * OK, clean up the flash and that's it .
  12. 1. Adventures with NoTox Glue 2. Experiences with photo etch saws bending into a Z shape 3. Clear parts in vintage kits that turn out to have tire melt 4. Areas of your body besides fingers that you've managed to stab with an X-Acto knife 5. Palmer kits
  13. White Satin is the brand preferred by clowns and other circus performers.
  14. Wish I knew. I was hoping Greg Jein had them, but at least he saved the photos. Too bad I sold that Jo-Han '66 Chrysler 300 convertible I built back in the '70s - I hope somebody who has one will build a diorama of the garage, complete with rotating floor!
  15. Life magazine featured a picture of my dad in the August 11, 1947 issue; he's in here somewhere:
  16. July 14, 2001. My family and I were in the audience on July 4, 1966 (and the wait for tickets was only a year!). Got to shake hands with Oliver O. Oliver (Ray Rayner) on the way out during the Grand March!
  17. It's a start, Dan - thanks! Looks like it needs to be about 3/8" - 1/2" shorter behind the doors. Anyone else have a bare body shell?
  18. Coincidentally, the estate of movie model maker Greg Jein is being auctioned off. There are a LOT of detailed photos of the full-size car that would be a big help for detailing the kit, including interior and trunk shots; but here are some images of the miniature built for the rotating garage floor scenes. Also included are shots of the '66 Chrysler 300 miniature: Rest of it here: https://bid.studioauctions.com/Category/The_Greg_Jein_Collection-11.html
