  1. Looks like you're still active; sent Scott Rose a PM.
  2. Which board, WIX? Happy Birthday!
  3. Music lessons were ruined for many kids by watching Mr. B. Natural.
  4. Girls! Girls! Girls! was Elvis Presley's eleventh film movie cash grab for the Colonel.
  5. I used to go through old human interest stories in TIME magazine at the high school library back in my teens; this one stuck with me so I looked it up, bought the magazine on eBay, scanned the story, and passed the savings on to you: With an unusually modern follow-up: This would have made a good scene for the movie Used Cars... Lesson learned: Always read the fine print! To do the numbers, 18 payments of $57.10/month for 18 months would have added up to $1027.80. 30 months would have totaled $1713.
  6. Just playin' witcha, Snake!
  7. Fabrication is what you hear when you ask someone how big was the fish they almost caught.
  8. "Blades of Grass" was a poem by Walt Whitman, whose name was used for the high school in the TV series Room 222, co-starring Karen Valentine.
  9. Half a loaf is better than none, unless mice ate the other half and contaminated the rest of the loaf.
  10. Note the biker chick who says "I say ya let ME have him first!" - It's Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira.
  11. Boring tiny holes in tiny distributors is necessary for inserting tiny spark plug wires.
  12. And on the T-bird, did any other Styline parts show up besides the roof?
  13. Maybe a kit with a chrome piece that's in a one-year-newer Modified Stocker? Would be cool if the backup light lenses were molded separately this time; it took a bit of work to cast them in clear resin.
  14. What's being used now are the custom taillight lenses from the 1964 El Camino and station wagon: (Images via Drastic Plastics' Fotki album) They fit flush with the opening OK, but you have to cut them down and add thin sheet plastic around them to make bezels - or find an earlier issue of the '65 wagon/El Camino to get the correct lenses and bezels; just another thing AMT messed up but never fixed (like the hood).
  15. Steve, when the cloning was done did they finally fix the hood so it's even all the way across where it touches the cowl?
  16. Pit Stop (filmed 1967, released 1969) was a good noir-ish take on stock car racing; free on YT:
  17. Maybe Thunder Alley? Annette and Fabian that time.
  18. Cave of the Bare Clan was the X-rated knockoff of the movie Clan of the Cave Bear - oh rats, "bear" is a word I just used.
