  1. Still should be doable with some surgery; now I'm wondering if the chassis will be a good fit under the '63, '64 and '65 Craftsman Valiants - and the Fireball 500!
  2. The SnapFast kit has one other good quality: The vent louvers on the passenger side cowling are molded correctly, raised above the surface rather than sunken in like the full-detail kit.
  3. How about a movie car? '60 Brookwood from Superargo and the Faceless Giants:
  4. Anyone also notice the Nomad has five extra taillight lenses and what looks like a red roof beacon? Future police or fire chief option, or perhaps for an El Camino service vehicle? Also note the full wheel covers and dog dishes (which I hope have been redone since the last test shot).
  5. Rebellion was once an act you'd commit by buying a Dodge.
  6. Do the headlights look a bit small to you?
  7. Only thing I've spotted so far is the Motorific GMC truck, which could be backdated to 1960...?
  8. We've seen test shots of some of the 1962 Mopars, so here's hoping...
  9. Mountains of Brady Bunch laundry are no match for Safe detergent!
  10. Good idea; the Canadian Meteor and Monarch used some cool grille and trim treatments that were used on American customs back in the day.
  11. I recently latched onto another of these Superior Coach school bus toy banks. By measuring the wheelbase it comes out to 1/43 scale; the Revell '57 Chevy stakebed is 1/48 and the difference is a bit obvious when I measured it. Does anyone make a 1/43 big Chevy cab/chassis from the '55-'59 period that I could adapt? Over to the experts...
  12. Oh, yes, I'll be getting a couple at least. The original kit/promo had its share of problems, like the sloping roof and lack of door opening lines in the greenhouse, but it looks like they've been addressed. Just hope the '59 El Camino chassis will be an easy fit.
  13. Uh oh. Hope Round2 can fix the wheel covers before production: The rest looks good, and the grille is a big improvement over the original. The '32 Tudor has a much better windshield frame than the old sedan/Victoria/5-window did - thumbs up on that one. Love seeing the '63 Tempest return - hopefully we'll get a coupe next? The vent windows still aren't quite right but it's not a big problem to fix.
  14. The song may have been popular but not everybody listened closely. When I was working the periodical desk in my high school library, one of my classmates came up and asked for articles about the "Evans Fritzgerald" (this was in '76-'77).
  15. Space Angel and Clutch Cargo brought new meaning to "limited animation"; pretty much nothing moved but the creepy superimposed mouths.
  16. What if you already have health insurance through an HMO? I only pay the price of a new kit per month for it and my prescriptions are covered. Just turned 65 in July and I need to do the Medicare thing in the next couple weeks.
  17. Undernourished runway models teeter on their high heels.
  18. Even the 1/32 All Stars (now Scale Stars) '32 3-window coupe has that quirk.
