  1. Agreed. The general perception of a Rat, is a creature that is unattractive, dirty, and something to be avoided at all costs... ( I don't mean to offend anyone with a pet rat)
  2. I'm a member of a couple of car forums here in the UK and there is a big following for 'Rat Look'. This is generally low end cars, that have bad paint, rust and can be picked up for a couple of hundred quid. lower it and spray or hand paint matt Black and it will generally be included in the Rat look scene. the whole point over here is to do it on the cheap. It would be pointless spending 4 Grand on a paintjob for a £300 car. Like everything though, you get certain people that want to be too 'Scene' and go to the other end of the scale. Not too far from me is a 2003 Audi RS6, with matt paint and and a fake rust painted bonnet. This I do not get.
  3. I was looking at plow makes and colours for mine and noticed that one of the decals in the kit, that goes on the back of the plow, is for XYZ Plows, which actually are a company based in Sweden, who make snow plows and other equipment - XZY Vikplog. I'm wondering whether they based the plow on a Western, but used an agreement with the swedish firm, to use their name (even though they have styled the letters differently)?
  4. Did anything come of this? I only ask as I was looking at my GMC Plow and my Ford Super duty kits side by side.....
  5. Cheers Gordon. That clears it up. I paid £17 for the set, which is pretty good considering the amount of kit you get in the box.
  6. Nice build. Such cool looking trucks. I guess it would be the equivalent of our Ford Transits.
  7. Amazing attention to detail. I find it staggering the skills of some of you guys on here.
  8. If they still had the tooling for this, it would make a great release as an 'Armed pick up' That you see in middle east and African conflicts. I recently bought the Italeri Toyota armed pick up and was pretty disappointed with the lack of interior panels etc, so will be using the gun and various other parts for another project.
  9. No, doesn't show the baseball cap anywhere. My bad, didn't see the sunglasses on the guy with the beard, but the driver figure has a flat top hair cut and he also has sun glasses. the clothes are different on two of the figures too and they are both wearing sandals, which kind of messes with the snow plow thing, unless they are particularly hard core
  10. I brought the Italeri truck accessories set no 720,for my GMC pick up snow plow project and after opening the box, realized that the figures were different to the box art. the driver figure has sun glasses, one of the standing figures has a baseball cap, whereas on the box, the figures are not wearing these. Did they make two different sets, or is this a case of pre issue artwork not being updated? Not fussed, just curious
  11. Simply amazing work. Gutted for you that the lights are missing, but looking at the quality of the scratch building you have done Fabrizio, I'm sure you will be able to sort it.
  12. This has probably been posted up before, but this guy takes modelling skills to a whole different level. Not to mention his photography. Simply stunning. - http://www.flickr.com/photos/24796741@N05/
  13. No hating here I saw my first ever 'Donk' in this country a month or so back. it was a Black Toyota Hi Lux, with a huge lift kit and what looked like 30" wheels. As I say, we just don't get them over here, so it was pretty jaw dropping seeing it rollin...
  14. Brilliant detail I take it the poor guy got out of the Dub to fix it and ended up on the menu!
  15. That is great. Reminds me of my son's 'Old No 5' Hot wheels
  16. Your detailing and weathering are second to none.Your models really are incredible..
