  2. If the rest of the build is anything like the engine, this is going to be killer!

Resurrecting this thread, as I have been looking at inspiration after picking up the van from my local model shop and came across a brilliant write up on how to get the details spot on. - http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234966441-renault-4-fourgonnette/ Now I've just got to figure what direction to go in with mine.

  13. Not sure if these parts were moulded in this beige colour,or have yellowed with age?
  14. Yep your right. Project will be in the truck section
  15. Some trim levels of cars are close to extinction here.A lot of the European Renaults, lancias etc that came over in right hand drive in the 70's and 80's are thin on the ground and say a GLX auto Renault 5 has gone completely, whereas there might be 10 GL autos left.
  16. Brought a Firestone Rolling Stones pickup on line, thinking it was a repop, at £20. I was going to use it as a zombie hunter armed pickup kind of thing. It arrived today and it is a mint original '79 amt matchbox release. Now I'm in a quandary,do I just go ahead and build it as a beater, or get another later one? Not that fussed, it's just I feel a bit bad about chopping about a 36 year old kit....
