  1. looking good, can't wait to see more.
  2. I just got done with a tanker, what a nightmare fit-wise. keep an eye on the 'outriggers' on the frame that go up the sides of the tanker body, they need some tweaking to make sure they actually meet the tanker body when it sits on the frame, atleast mine did.
  3. this is looking great! nice work
  4. oh the horror, as if the first one wasn't bad enough....................
  5. James, nice score! I suppose my wife isn't too bad about it really, but she does question why I need them stacked floor to ceiling, on shelves, and why I don't get them done faster, lol.

  10. welcome aboard, I too have a truck addiction hello from another New Yorker [just not from the 'city' ]
  11. really dig this truck, great paint scheme and 'loss' of chrome, as said, makes for a totally different truck, well done.
  12. looking great, love the weathering. [just don't forget to weather the tires ]
  13. well, I cracked open the prostar and a 53 foot trailer today. so far, I am loving it. zero flash, and awesome molding. i now truly understand what you guys have been saying about these kits. my little bit of progress so far, in white primer, i think i am going with Inca Gold on this. will probably do the trailer in white, but who knows, i tend to like to have color matched rig/trailer
  14. I have a shopping problem...... I think.........least that's what the wife tells me..............
  15. epic fail..........washer bottle cap isn't chrome............idiots I tell ya..............they were so close to nailing the look too...........

  18. wow, amazing paint work, very nice indeed
  19. yes sir it would change me, I would then be able to do what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it. [not crazy stuff, just enjoy life] 9-5 job, nope, I would 'work', but it would be at things I enjoy [that might seem like work to others]. if I wanted to sleep till noon, so be it, if I wanted to work in my garage till 3 am, so be it. I would drop the shackles of 'time' [i.e. clock] and do stuff as it struck me to do so [in a non psycho manner mind ya ]
  20. I don't mind the rain, as long as the sump pumps keep going...... downside is, rain, some heat and sun and my lawn seems to grow a foot a day! in good situations this time of year I have to mow every 3 days, and I am in a 'weird' spot ground water wise [part of the old erie canal is across the road from my house, Oneida lake 3 miles down the road], so if we get too much rain, my yard is 'land -o- lakes' with foot tall grass, gets out of control fast. so here is hoping for some somewhat dry weather after the massive rain we are supposed to get tomorrow.............
  21. cool stuff guys! grandkids..........sweetness..........expecting my first grand child in October......hard to believe.......big congrat's!! my post office delivered these today,
  22. that looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, tell ya what, drop it off to me and I will hook you up with a new body and hood, least I can do for ya. how's that sound? j/k man, looks phenomenal!! great paint job
  23. nice work so far, I think you are going to nail it years ago I saw an elco with a grand prix front end grafted on to it, even had the GP body lines on the doors, looked pretty cool. I wonder what ever happened to that.......
  24. Ray, looks great! nice job. question for ya, I had a 65 Biscayne, and it had a piece of chrome trim along the upper part of the quarter panel, did the 66 not have this trim? just curious as I haven't seen a 66 Biscayne in real life.
  25. well done, nice clean build. less is more, and you nailed it on this.
