  1. both look great! I am really digging that pete and trailer combo!!
  2. fairly new to BMF myself, but it gives amazing results. I have yet to have it peel up paint yet, so, I want to ask, what kind of paint do you use [enamel/lacquer/ or ??] and how long are you letting it dry? when you cut the BMF, how are you doing it? I find a new blade is a must [i use an exacto knife], and I find the weight of the knife itself is plenty heavy enough to cut the foil, no pressure exerted by my fingers, just drag the knife along and let it cut. I wonder if maybe you have a combo of still not cured paint, and a little heavy handed on the foil cutting?
  3. mostly big rig topics, but I do bounce around quite a bit, depends on my mood and what I am building at the time, or if I have bought a kit, I look for topics regarding it [reviews/wip's/under glass], or whatever interests me in the new content thread. don't look at nascar or die cast really.
  4. big congrat's JT! awesome trucks my man.
  5. I find I usually have 3 going at once. I am into tractor trailers, so usually its a rig, a trailer, and a car of some sort. as mentioned earlier, it's nice to have something to mess with while paint and glue are drying
  6. great pic's Justin, thanks for sharing, the fire truck looks incredible!

  14. I hear ya, I did my first one at around 13 years old, came out pretty good for my skills at the time, no idea where it ended up. I also have another version of this kit, has parts molded in pink! my original build of this kit, I painted the body white and used the kit decals, from what I remember, it looked pretty good [for the time/skill set].

  20. one of my kids moved out, so I build in my own room now here is what it looked like, now it's a mess........
  21. I don't know if i'd class myself as impulse buyer...........yet. since getting back into the hobby, I have been buying kits I remember building/ruining as a kid, or getting kits I remember from then, but couldn't afford at the time. I think hoarder is a more apt description, lol. then again, we all have an addiction to this stuff........ ok, guilty as charged, thought I could talk my way out of this, but who am I kidding..............I learned it from watching you [yes, you people here ]
  22. looking good JT, got a trailer to go behind this blue beauty? I too would like to see the orange return..........maybe if everyone that regularly looks in the truck forum sent you a can of orange paint.............
  23. looks great! this is going to be good inspiration when i start on mine, keep at it.
