  1. rotors look fantastic! almost a shame to bolt a wheel on them........... great looking stuff!
  2. wow, amazing paint work, very nice indeed
  3. yes sir it would change me, I would then be able to do what I wanted to do, when I wanted to do it. [not crazy stuff, just enjoy life] 9-5 job, nope, I would 'work', but it would be at things I enjoy [that might seem like work to others]. if I wanted to sleep till noon, so be it, if I wanted to work in my garage till 3 am, so be it. I would drop the shackles of 'time' [i.e. clock] and do stuff as it struck me to do so [in a non psycho manner mind ya ]
  4. I don't mind the rain, as long as the sump pumps keep going...... downside is, rain, some heat and sun and my lawn seems to grow a foot a day! in good situations this time of year I have to mow every 3 days, and I am in a 'weird' spot ground water wise [part of the old erie canal is across the road from my house, Oneida lake 3 miles down the road], so if we get too much rain, my yard is 'land -o- lakes' with foot tall grass, gets out of control fast. so here is hoping for some somewhat dry weather after the massive rain we are supposed to get tomorrow.............
  5. cool stuff guys! grandkids..........sweetness..........expecting my first grand child in October......hard to believe.......big congrat's!! my post office delivered these today,
  6. that looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, tell ya what, drop it off to me and I will hook you up with a new body and hood, least I can do for ya. how's that sound? j/k man, looks phenomenal!! great paint job
  7. nice work so far, I think you are going to nail it years ago I saw an elco with a grand prix front end grafted on to it, even had the GP body lines on the doors, looked pretty cool. I wonder what ever happened to that.......
  8. Ray, looks great! nice job. question for ya, I had a 65 Biscayne, and it had a piece of chrome trim along the upper part of the quarter panel, did the 66 not have this trim? just curious as I haven't seen a 66 Biscayne in real life.
  9. well done, nice clean build. less is more, and you nailed it on this.
  10. gorgeous, beautiful job. what a knock out.
  11. thank you, it was a tough build really, the kit is no where near correct and nothing really fits well. I don't think I would build another one
  12. Brian, that looks terrific! great job on that, in the one pic it looks real. great job
  13. Carl, got that to go with the 'joes garage' gas station kit that's on it's way. I got two of the gas station kits in the hopes of combining them into something cool..........time will tell on that...

    3 window Deuce

it's got great attitude, love it. the little details are really nice, well done, great looking car.
  15. looks great! you can get good results from cheap paint, just gotta experiment some. I used rustoleum on this, with no clear, it was my second build after 20+ years away from this plastic insanity
  16. what a beauty, lets go for a ride..........
  17. looks like stuff I see in the woods around here, great job! and I too love the spider webs, throw a snake skin in there and you're done, lol.
  18. thanks guys appreciate the kind words
  19. thanks. and yes, a little more detail would have been nice, especially the interior tub...the door panel lines are faint, and not very well molded. tail lamp fit could use some work as well. but alas, it is done and posted under glass. thanks for looking everyone.
  20. very nice, I too like the color choice, great looking model.
  21. you're doing some great looking stuff! love it man, keep at it and put me down for two of the RS grill's [yes, I am serious, build them and I will buy......]
  22. no engine at all, it's just a mass of wires/sensors/tubing. each wheel has an electric motor to drive the thing. they had to put something under the hood
  23. last few days, the chevy tin has the '51 fleetline in it.

    '55 Vette

I don't use this word often, but that is lovely. well done.
  25. Bill, that looks fantastic! I really enjoyed building that kit, I hope you did as well. KJ, check hobby lobby, they have some 'jewels' that are close to what you are looking for, they are round [sort of], but may work for what you need. sorry to hi-jack, back to our regularly scheduled topic
