  1. wow......you gotta change your name to rosie the riveter that's a lot of rivets, but the results are way worth it, looking good!
  2. interior is looking sharp! love the CD's and what not, I hope you cut the roof out too so you can see all that stuff after final assembly.
  3. that is cool three times over very nice build.
  4. thanks guys Marshall, you know how it is, seems you need to glue about 75 parts on sometimes before things become worthy of a picture I now have the mud flaps on, and decals on the front and rear flaps, got the tank braces on, the torque rods on the diff's, and the stack mounts are painted and drying, underside of hood has been painted flat black, front of cab in appropriate areas is flat black, back side of bumper is painted flat black and all the hinge assemblies are painted/drying. stacks are together as well. next step looks to be glass install, jam the interior 'cube' in it and make a truck out of it all
  5. fwiw, I use IE and it works fine for me. granted, no help for your issue, but thought I would mention I use it with no issues [knocks on wood].
  6. pretty funny stuff fellas, amazing the things we do sometimes. in all seriousness I think my biggest modeling disaster was the 20 years that I spent NOT building. I find it amazing how much I really enjoy it. I know I loved it as a kid/teen, and love it now, and upon reflection, I have no idea why I stopped doing it for so long. Sure, life/wife/kids/work happen after the carefree teen years, but heck, you still have hobbies right? Anyway, just so glad I got back into it again, made winter this year bearable, and I have met some cool people thru this plastic addiction, and now that summer is upon us, I won't hate the rainy days so much
  7. that looks to be a 'pizza pie', lol, can I ask for one of those in the wanted section? not so much hot dog stand, but the dogs themselves, Hoffman hot dogs..............mmmmmmmm good, and the snappy grillers are pretty great too!
  8. if the tire was hollow to begin with, couldn't you put foam in it, like an R/C car tire? granted, it wouldn't take much of the foam, but you might be able to contour the foam as well to get the look you're after.
  9. that is spectacular! amazing job on that
  10. well, it's a roller still have a bunch left to do, but the major assemblies are done, now it's just the rest of the little bits paint/detail and stick on, lol.
  11. looks fantastic!
  12. I think really the only complaint I have is the cost of revell/italleri re-issue kits versus the round 2 stuff. I gotta think revell / italeri has made the initial investment back, why can't they sell at $35-$40 range like round 2? I wonder how much faster that stuff would fly off the shelves?? either way you look at it, atleast stuff is trickling out, and that is good for us. and really, I also have to think as truck modelers, we are a small segment of the over all model sales picture, so atleast we are getting re issues and some new material to work with.
  13. great looking stuff! one question though, if you are hauling hay, do you really want flames on your truck bit of a fire hazard.........
  14. i gotta figure round 2 is just going to keep re-issuing stuff they have molds for. must be big truck sales and the already re-issued trailers are selling well enough to warrant more re-issues of old trailers and truck kits, that in itself is good news. Moebius is going to be our best hope for newer style trailers for now i think.
  15. great looking trailer. how did you do the 'wood' portion? I really like how that came out.
  16. well done, that is a great looking truck!
  17. looking good! love the color
  18. so, this is odd, huh? this kit has spokes and square tanks, this kit has spokes and alcoas, and comes with both style tanks, and it would seem that Seans kit has round tanks and alcoas only, very odd, yes?
  19. I see that pulling a lowboy or a log trailer [not the peerless trailer, but a full length log trailer]
  20. great work Sean, looks killer. best of luck with the move, that is never easy.
  21. that's looking great! nice work so far.
