  8. I went today, got a 2010 Camaro for $8, the 55 jukebox ford and the 56 crown vic kits for $14 each, all on clearance.
  9. as Force mentioned about bleed thru, 1 paint base color, let dry 2 tape off stripes etc, then clear coat, let dry 3 paint second color, let dry, then un mask so far, this has worked best for me when trying two tone paint, it's how I did this cab [3 colors] no bleed thru at all. now back to our regularly scheduled build in progress......
  10. ok fellas, nothing picture worthy yet, but I am working on this combo.......got the trailer basic frame together and painted, got the wheels half painted, and the outer and inner box painted. I started fiddling with the cab and hood, sanding seams and what not in preparation to glue on the odds and ends before I paint it. if you guys would be so kind, I need some good side pic's of hood/cab fit, and just exactly where the 'filler' panels glue on to the cab [the squarish looking one on the drivers side, and the air intake one that is 'wedge' shaped on the passenger side] I hope this will be easier than mocking the whole thing up. any help here is appreciated. I hope to start on the frame tomorrow, work on the trailer, and finish up a 71 cuda......I got plastic everywhere lol.......

  25. Dennis, other than 3 cars and one p/u, that is all I have done in 9 months. my buying on the other hand............. I always figure a month atleast to do a truck and trailer, and so far I am only doing oob builds, I ever start detailing them, i'll never get anything done, lol. I have, by my math, 10 years worth of kits to build yet.......[and another 5 years worth of cars/trucks].
