  1. great, now I want one of these! lol. my older sister used to drive a 1980 chevette.
  2. excellent looking combo, great job!
  3. well, last two 'normal production' vette's that went thru work were wearing sticker prices of 71 and 75 grand wonder what those will retail for??
  4. at a glance, it looks like you get one of everything they make, and it's charged automatically to your credit card. or can you pick your area of interest? never mind, looked again, they have more areas of interest coming.
  5. looks fabulous! great job on the painted stripes, this is going to look sweet when done. every time I check this thread I want to get mine out and start on it.........
  6. not that it makes a lot of difference in this scale, but 69 was the first year for a locking steering column, so the column and ignition cylinder location is different between 68 and 69.
  7. looks pretty good, I have one of these in my stash, gotta round up a missing tail light..........
  8. for some reason i really dig that!
  9. looks fantastic so far, great foil work.

    65 impala

bare metal foil. took awhile to do it, but it was worth it I think. I really need to get back to this kit, been on the back burner too long.

  12. yes, looks great so far, love the plumbing. as if this thing wasn't big enough, you stretched it too?? you going to park it in your garage?
  13. another great looking weathered up truck from your work bench, amazing job!
  14. filthy, dirty, grimey looking rig................ahh, yep, that's a compliment looks great, nice job getting it all dirty
  15. Dennis, great looking truck, have seen that one before, absolutely beautiful job.
  16. thanks guys. those were two tough kits....not a whole lot fit together very well on either of them [and still don't to be honest], but I learned a lot doing them. thanks for the kind words guys, what oh what should I build next I wonder.................
  17. both look great! I am really digging that pete and trailer combo!!
  18. fairly new to BMF myself, but it gives amazing results. I have yet to have it peel up paint yet, so, I want to ask, what kind of paint do you use [enamel/lacquer/ or ??] and how long are you letting it dry? when you cut the BMF, how are you doing it? I find a new blade is a must [i use an exacto knife], and I find the weight of the knife itself is plenty heavy enough to cut the foil, no pressure exerted by my fingers, just drag the knife along and let it cut. I wonder if maybe you have a combo of still not cured paint, and a little heavy handed on the foil cutting?
  19. mostly big rig topics, but I do bounce around quite a bit, depends on my mood and what I am building at the time, or if I have bought a kit, I look for topics regarding it [reviews/wip's/under glass], or whatever interests me in the new content thread. don't look at nascar or die cast really.
  20. big congrat's JT! awesome trucks my man.
  21. I find I usually have 3 going at once. I am into tractor trailers, so usually its a rig, a trailer, and a car of some sort. as mentioned earlier, it's nice to have something to mess with while paint and glue are drying
  22. great pic's Justin, thanks for sharing, the fire truck looks incredible!
  23. she's under glass finally
  24. well, after what seems like forever, it's under glass
