  1. Whoow loads of awesome builds! I havent build much models, 5 in total but I love them all. If i have to choose this will be the one. It is the Revell Willys slightly modified
  2. Thanks Allen :-) Change of plans.... again, instead of lowering the front I raised the rear a little bit, this is the final stance. I also cut out a part of the trunk for the wheels, it will have some chains or belts to keep them in. I was thinking to use a Vallejo bottle for the the gas can for the flame throwers but I have my doubts if its to big? What do you think?
  3. Same here, and sometimes something else pulls me back into this hobby.
  4. Nicely done, my son and I did his first model last year when he was six.
  5. I have choosen for the small wheels, the axles are mounted. I might lower it a little in the front. I want to add a fuel tank for the flame throwers and spare tires in the rear, not sure how but thinking about the Charger in Furious 7.
  6. Im waiting for delivery of MIG pigments to put earth look on the tires and than it is finished.
  7. Not sure where this is going From a friend I got a incomplete Cuda, and truck chassis wit some small parts and bunch trailer wheels. Im thinking to build a model that fits the Mad Max or the Apocalypse scene. By the way the roof gun comes from a broken toy from my kid. I have also a Revell armor car that I might use to combine with the Cuda. Suggestions and ideas are welcome
  8. The shelf is ready and the chassis also Now waiting for the paint to dry on the inside of the body.
  9. First I tried painting the wheel with the airbrush, but that was not going to work. Its one piece so I got more paint in my face than in the rim After that I painted the rims with a brush and the hub also, the bolts I have done with a toothpick and shipload of patience and breaks. It was time consuming but worth it. Thanks for looking
  10. Thanks Dan! The chassis is now 98% ready I started making a shelf for in the showcase with a small dirt ramp, when dry it will get some highlights and a stripe
  11. Thanks Joe, I had some issues getting the engine in correctly. Because of that I made changes in lot of things but its now in without pressure and its not twisting the chassis. Im very happy with the result
  12. Very nice build, would love to have that too
  13. Slowly making progress Roll cage and driver compartment are as good as ready! The engine is in with radiator and gearbox, all the chrome has been removed and replaced with Alclad Aluminum. The front shocks are mounted Another test fit after the body mounts have been glued on.
  14. Nice job, love the colors
  15. Nice start, I do think that the 23" are to big for the front. the 19" Pegasus look much more realistic for this car.
  16. Interesting topic, very helpful. Does the bmf go on the clearcoat or under?
