  1. Nice car Tulio, no sleeper with that color! Have you ever built a '57 Chevy?
  2. x2 for me. Great looking car, sexy is the word.
  3. Very, Very Nice! Sweet even. That top lokks like real vinyl, or , something real. What paint did you use, looks great, awsome build. What kit is that Dave?
  4. I like it. How can you 'not' like a '70 Road Runner in Plum Crazy! Looks good Jon, nice paint job.
  5. Thanks Carl and Michael, should have some pics up in the next day or so. Got the wheels and frame painted and am putting the basic engine together now.
  6. Wow, that's cool Mike! I've never seen anyone have the latch tab on the back window the way it's supposed to be, and the windows even open! Is there actually a 'latch' inside there? Fine looking car, that paint job is incredible. cool idea too, someday I'll get the Super Bee Pro Street Kit, got my hands full at the moment though, thanks for the post.
  7. Jason, that's awsome! You made the right call on the wheels, fantastico!!!!!!!! What color is that on the body? Nice, nice.
  8. Carl, it looks like you're the only one that didn't get the memo on this thing, thanks for your comment.
  9. Thanks Carl! Well it 'is' the 'little mouse' right? I'll probably go with orange for the engine , and , I got my decal making supplies yesterday.
  10. Jason, if you're going for the 'bone stock' look you're good, if not , I would do some white letters on those slicks, OR , use some chrome trim rings with those dog caps, like these: http://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/pbp-6007.htm yummy
  11. Oh come on, ya gotta admit it looks pretty cool, 'seriously adult hobbyist' cool maybe even.
  12. Al, thanks for the compliments. A pro street version of this car would be cool. First tip: Don't file the bottom of the dash tabs off prior to installation! Buzz, I painted this car like 15yrs ago. It was my last paint job of my last great modeling binge which lasted about three years. As far as I can remember it went on well. I used a rattle can (outside) and there is no primer on the car. I 'never' used primer until I started hanging out on this forum, I just did a lot of prep work.. My paint jobs were better than I'm doing now. Thanks for taking the time to post a comment, glad you like the paint.
  13. First mock-up. Thinking that the wheels (60's Mopar from Scenes Unlimited) and frame will be gloss black. But then again, I think the purple looks cool with white so I'm not sure. Any opinions on colors would be great. I'm thinking Transparent yellow, or , blue for the windows, MM brown leather color for the seat, red for the engine. I'm gonna try and make the decals myself, this is just paper for now. Let me know what you think, thanks for looking. She might be small, but she's mighty!
  14. All of the above suggestions will work. My preference would be gloss black with silver lugs and maybe center cap, or , if you can find the right dog dish go with the body color.
  15. One of the best builds I've seen. That engine bay looks 1:1, incredible.
  16. Beutious! The bottom of the car is awsome too. It looks like there's an image on the back seat speaker?
  17. Thanks Ben, There's still enough on the tabs that I think I can make it work, just needed to file some of the dash away around them. Hopefully I will have pics up by tomorrow.
  18. Ira, you make everything seem so simple, and , in fact it may be. You just have the patience and courage backed with experience to make it work. It's a blast watching you work man!
  19. Looks great, can't wait to see it with clear coat.
  20. Mike, the 'Cuda is looking awsome! FWIW, I'm working on a '71 Duster and I used MM 'Steel' for the wheel centers, it's spot on to the 1:1 wheel centers. Glad the surgery went well!
  21. I think I'm going to be able to make the current dash work, (I think). I'll post pics when I get it in.
