  1. Good working drawings, you have captured the subtle lines of the Charger well. We look forward to seeing these projects.
  2. Great to see all these takes on Miss Deal! I love them all.
  3. Superb! I love this car. Well done, Lee

Thanks again for all your kind comments, glad Miss Deal could stir some good memories and responses!

Thanks Robert The headers were chrome originally. I really recommend this kit for a taste of old skool modelling!

Thanks all for your kind comments Yes the headers were a pain, but then there were a few fitment issues, mainly due to the age of the mouldings I guess. Cheers, -Don.
  7. Here's my take on the great Revell Miss Deal. I added chrome backs to the headlights then dropped clear varnish into them to give a pleasing yellow shine. I painted on the rear lights and threw away the push bar (foot) which to my mind just looked silly - and she does have a starter motor so it's not needed! I also added rear supports to the roll cage and moved the steering wheel and seat to a left hand drive setup. I cut down a dash panel with a couple of instruments from an old F1 kit and added that and also made a rear window 'cos it looks better that way! I threw away the two-part body support strut as it looked clumsy and I could not fathom how and where it was supposed to fit. I also had to lower the entire cage and do some sanding of the front internal frame to get the stance just right - I dislike 'nose-up' gassers and street freaks! Let me know what you make of the stance I arrived at (looking at you Bill!) I've wanted this model since I was 15 years old - finally got one fifty years later. Not perfect but I love it ? The kit is showing it's age but I thoroughly enjoyed building it - and it looks great on display with the Vette and the Charger.
  8. PM sent A lovely thing to behold!
  9. Just got a PM from Michael (Thanks!) so all is well?
  10. Thanks for checking Peter. Keep hoping all's well ?
  11. I hope all's well with Michael as this thread seems to have gone a bit quiet and he's not responded to the PM I sent a while back for this quiz. Are you OK, Michael?
  12. I've also PM'd.? Hope everyone on the forum is well Cheers, -Don.
  13. I thought I knew too, but it ain't one of them. I hope you were right, whatever you PM'd, Bill! Cheers, -Don.
  14. Don't give up on us Michael! Cheers, -Don.
  15. I've been contracting for over 20 years now, it seems it's us rather than the permanent staff who have the motivation to get stuff done - if we don't, we don't get counselling and training we just get given our marching orders! I'm now 64 and busier than ever.
  16. I should have got this as it is so familiar to me. Christmas brain fade. Happy New Year, Auto-quizzers! Cheers, -Don.
  17. Easiest one yet for me! Nice car. Cheers, -Don.
  18. Keen to know what it is but right now I have no idea.
  19. Fair comment, thanks Michael.. Cheers, -Don.
  20. Do you not like engineers? I wonder if they do typos like yours? The point is not to give clues. Peteski's comment is a borderline clue. But the car's homeland is surely where it's home is. This one lives in the States, or did once. But whatever, I'd have one as a shopping car. Looks like a gas. -Don.
  21. So it's most likely an EMW. Thanks Michael!
  22. I guess if we knew the location it would give us a clue as to which it was! East or West...
  23. I'd rather have the one on it's left (or on it's right as you look at it).
