  1. Who makes the tires and wheels?
  2. I've been using Duplicolor primers almost exclusively for quite a while now...they come in multiple colors (white, light grey, dark grey and 'hot rod' black) and I've never had an issue with anything I've sprayed over them including Tamiya, Testors One-Coat, regular Testors laquer or enamel and, of course, Duplicolor paints.
  3. What is going on with the window trim on the Fujimi kit in the 6th picture...it's got all kinds of shapes and bumps that don't look like they should be there.
  4. The acetone in nail polish remover will sometimes damage styrene and the acetone-free nail polish remover doesn't work well at all. Better off using either the strongest isopropyl rubbing alcohol you can find to soak it, E-Z Off Oven Cleaner, Purple Power/Simple Green or brake fluid. Stripping paint also depends upon what kind of paint was used and how long it has cured.
  5. Is the engine scratchbuilt or did you find the Nelson BBC available somewhere?
  6. Any chance you'd be willing to print another set and, if so, what would you want for them?
  7. Where did you get the decal sheet...I'd love to build one of the Syclones I have as a Malboro edition.
  8. Saw your answer above and I appreciate it, my friend...car looks great.
  9. "W/IED Accessary" (SIC)...like it's some kind of aftermarket add-on.
  10. What color did you use for the 'copper colored primer coat' underneath the car?
  11. I picked-up the 'Martini' and the 'Jager' car this past year...always wanted them as a kid and finally decided to get them. I've read the directions and peeked in the boxes but haven't started on either yet. I'll be referencing your pictures and I especially like how you've made the fuel tank look as if it's half full with race gas...how did you manage that trick?
  12. I'm down in Castle Rock but don't get too much time to build...
  13. Hobby Design does some kits for 1/18 die casts...mostly modern and supercars though.
  14. Not all Harley trucks were supercharged...and 2000 was the only year of the extended cab. 2000 = Naturally Aspirated 5.4 Extended Cab 2001 = Naturally Aspirated 5.4 Super Crew Cab 2002/2003 = Supercharged 5.4 Super Crew Cab
  15. Lightnings and H-Ds have different front ends...the lower front portion of the bumper is different on the two trucks as the Lightning has a one-piece bumper cover and the H-D has a black painted bumper and a lower front valence added on. Pretty familiar with Lightnings and H-Ds as I have a one-owner 2001 Lightning with about 9,800 miles on it.
  16. Far too 'rough and tubble', my friend...it's got to be perfectly coiffed with lots of mustache wax and you're not even holding a Starbucks!
  17. Make him either a hipster or give him the obligatory beard that seems to be all the rage these days and a Starbucks skinny half-caf mochachinolattefrap with extra whip in his hand...
  18. Any posts of the progress on the Pocher F40?
  19. Thanks for the detailed write-up on how you weathered it too...very realistic looking and looks like a six year old truck that has seen some time on the road. Thanks again.
  20. What paints or products did you use for your weathering, specifically the differing levels of surface rust?
  21. I want to model a Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR 'VooDoo Edition' and it's got some graphics on it that are actually white...I've got a decal making kit but obviously white decals become an issue. Any ideas as to how-to create a white decal or does anyone know of anyone that 'commissions' custom decal creation? I've got plenty of pictures to work from, so it would be too hard for someone who knew what they were doing. Thanks for any direction you can provide...
  22. Looks like all of your fighting with it was well worth it...great end result.
