  6. This is looking very nice.By the way I really like hat you're wearing in your profile photo.
  7. One of my first modeling tools was one of mom's old paring knives. It had the tip end of the blade broken off so it wasn't of much use in the kitchen but was perfect for me to heat over a candle and open model car doors with.I still have mounted in a small case on the wall near my model bench.
  8. Nothing lost in translation on this build.Simply a builder with mad man skills,a lot of determination and some seroius knowledge of his subject matter.thanks for sharing the link.
  9. Very well done replica of an unusual subject. Thanks for showing us the in progress scratch built parts before they disappeared under the body.

  11. Great model, very well built and detailed.

  13. Nice junk yard diorama. You a ton of work and time invested. How many vehicles are there?
  14. Several years ago I bought an aluminum modeling ruler under the name"MURPHEY'S RULE III".I do a lot of scratch building so is is a very valuable tool.Printed right on the face is this information:1/25 SCALE:1'=.480"/=31/64"/12.2mm.I hope this helps elimenate some guess work for everyone.
  15. You might want to keep that turtle deck piece you cut off the back of the coupe body.I used mine several decades ago for an accessory trunk on the back of a chopped '34 Ford tudor sedan street rod.I used the open part at the front as the base and opened the new top as a lid.
  16. That new rear panel is perfect for that spot.Just complicated enough to look right. As for the arms...If they were articulated just right it could change it's own tires!
  17. Looking like a baaad boy truck!
  18. Nice mechanical details. Thanks for showing how it is all laid out.
  19. Nice set of drawings.I'm sure these will help a lot of builders get their own"hauler"started. What is the floor material? Please specify the maker if it's available in sheet form and if possible their stock or part number. Thanks for sharing your information with us.
  20. I assume this will be weathered before being considered being done. Please let us know what material you used for the stone facing.Thanks.
  21. Nice touch with the split rail fence.
  22. Yet another great idea for this classic AMT kit.I have built more models based on this kit than any other(2 finished and five under construction in the past 3 years).Yours is going to be very neat when finished.I really like the cab conversion concept, very clever and nicely done. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
