  1. What a fun build!Neat stuff.
  2. I'm lovin it! Great color choice too.
  3. The headlights look like the Woodhull lights from the 1920's.What did you make them from? I like the overall agressive look of this build including the cowl mounted steering and the open slatted roof.
  4. Seeing it without the top, looking at those pointy rear fins and agressing front quarter panels the term "starship"comes to mind.Lowered sporting just the right bubble top.......hmmmmm
  5. Looking very slick at this point.I would have been tempted to leave as it looked after the "sanded with 400"photo but then tht's not the style you are building.I have never heard of that SEM thick primer. What's the normal source for that? Thanks for sharing.I like this more with every update.
  6. Nice to see another survivor being brought back to life. Those were simply massive cars.
  7. Outstanding build, great colors and weathering.
  8. Now you're talking!I really like the new scratch built panels. They have a much more authentic look to them than the kit parts.I will enjoy watching this build progress.
  9. Great garage.Very well constructed and detailed. Thanks for sharing with us.
  10. Nothing like a grungy garage.Looking good.
  11. I don't know what type of models you're building but I can highly recommend Holthaus resins,Replicas and Minatures of Maryland and Jimmy Flintstone as reputable vendors.I did not build for a 20 year period and have to agree that this is a great time to be a model builder. Look at the information that's available at our fingertips with sites like this one.Simply amazing isn't it?
  12. Great job showing a lot of original thinking.
  13. I actually like the new color better.
  14. Great model T!I love the subtle weathering and paint choices. Thanks for sharing with us.
  15. I'm suprised you assembled the frame and engine without painting.Did you just set it togeather as a test fit?
  16. I like where you're going on this build.I have converted my share of model T's as well. There are almost endless ways to build them. You might want to consider adding some roll up/down side crutains on this truck as the open sides would not be very practical on the dirt roads of that era or during bad weather. I'll be watching with intrest. Thanks for sharing with us!
  17. Hang on to the fringes of your imagintion fellow gawkers and unbelievers,Ira's broken loose again and was last seen running towards his model bench with a saw in his hand and a gleem in his eye!
  18. Great tip.Thanks for sharing.
  19. did you use wet paper for the tarp?
  20. What is the source of this radial engine?A lot of the radials shown in the links you posted have quite different looking engines than this one which makes me wonder if there is a kit source anyone can suggest for such an engine.Any help gratefully accepted as I know as much about aircraft as I do women.
  21. Imagine what the real thing would sound like at speed or strapped onto a dyno at full throttle!I believe I would want a super strong steel cage between myself and that ear level drive shaft running from the radial engine.
