  1. Thanks for sharing Art.
  2. You might consider using a thin piece of wire as the mounting arm for your "peep"mirror. Then mount a small mirror to that arm.I would suggest predrilling a very small dia hole for the mounting arm to fit into. This is a great model.you have made some great decisions on parts, paint and stance. Thanks for sharing the journey with us!
  3. If I ever get to see in person I'll need at least an hour to absorb at least a portion of it's awesomeness.
  4. Hope your recovery goes well Bair.I wondered how you could work and produce so many cool models in such a short time.
  5. Amazing details for any scale. Thanks for sharing your skills with us.
  6. Great take on a classic truck kit. There are countless variatons of those old work horse trucks just daring us to build our on version. The only limits are our imaginations.
  7. This is truly a labor of love. One can only hope the caster of the original has seen this and is as impressed as the rest of us are.
  8. Great color choices.Everything is very co-ordinated.
  9. Another great model Blair! Please be sure to post the interior pictures of the van interior so we can drool over them.
  10. Looking good.......although the interior I remember from my abduction and brain probe was a darker shade of red than yours.
  11. Great photos Howard! You never miss an interesting detail or angle.Depth of field is spot on too. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
  12. A model to be very proud of.Great BMF,paint and stance. Thanks for sharing with us.
  13. Every time I see one of these I remember how all of us of a certain age took our driver's tests in these. What a treat to parallel park they were!
  14. Amazingly realistic. These photos could be network TV stuff.
  15. A lot of work and very well done. Thanks for sharing with us.
  16. Headers are perfect in that setting.
  17. Nothing worse in the wilds of Africa than a cramped crapper!
  18. Naturally this is going to be outstanding when finished. You might want to consider adding a power winch assembly to the front of that trailer.I'm pretty sure anyone with deep enough pockets to have this boat built should surely have enough money to do that. Thanks for sharing this amazing project with us.Anyone who has ever posted a project knows how much time and extra effort it takes to take all of the photos, add notes and post them.
  19. As Spock would say "may they live long and prosper"
  20. Looking very kool. Thanks for taking the time to photograph and share your build with us!
  21. You might try using some aluminum jewlery wire from Hobby Lobby for some small parts like the U bolts fot that rear diff. It's very mallable so you can make just about anything from it including flattening it with a tack hammer for handles, straps.levers and other small parts.Don't forget to go on-line and get a 40 percent discount before you go there !
  22. So is this a street or racesaucer?I can't see a "stock"saucer running the wild flames and other decals. There is also an obious lack of armaments or weapons of an interstellar class so I'm again thinking that it's not intended as a tactial unit. Looking forward to you to your clarification as I am sure are other dazed and amazed people.
  23. Great model that is so very interesting from every angle.I first thought the nose cone piece might be the ponity end of a plastic Easter egg.builds like this are a lot of fun to work on.This has a neat patina finish as well.
