I have revisited 2 more decades old MPC contest era builds, made repairs as needed, brushed off some serious dust and am waiting for some decent weather to take current pictures and will post them as soon as they are available.
Another beautifully rendered classic. It must have been wonderful to have had enough money in those days to have the means to purchase a car like this. The fact that such vehicles were even being built during the depth of the great depression is amazing in itself.
Thnks for sharing your considerable talents with us!
(Just so we are clear about it,the repost above is not from me.)
This is a great model!Extremly well done with exceptional body work, great paint andsuper details. Thanks for sharing!
I sometimes wonder if your neighbors ever complain about you going out real early in the morning and going through their trash to be sure they're not throwing out something you might need later for one if your modeling projects.
Great scratch built vehicle. You must have access to the real thing to achieve such accurate proportions and realism.I don't think it would take very long to get a display case full of models this size!
This is going to be waaaay kool my friend! Those fins really do echo the front end profile.I'll be checking back to watch how this looks"in the black"paint I'm sure it will eventually get!!
Very impressive weathering everywhere on this model.Great to see the imagination you used adapting whatever you had at hand to replicate the parts of your real car!
Superior Coach was located in Lima,Oh about 30 miles from where I live and they built some very unique vehicles.Nice model that obviously has a lot of body mods in it.
Is that the Toledo NNL hall ceiling I see in the background ?
