  1. I found a really neat wood veneer product at Hobby Lobby today. It's called "WOOD-FX".You get (5) 8-1/2"x11"sheets in a package. It is small grained and paper backed. It measures .015" thick. This is real wood so each sheet is different. The original price had been $ 11.99 but this was in their clearance section(my favorite) so I got it for $ 7.19.I see a lot of uses for this product. It will work perfectly for any flat panel application such as slab sided woody wagons like yours, dash inserts and interior panels.

  3. Nice model with glossy paint and well done details.I never looked closely at the unbuilts in my collection but that tire tread is really odd.
  4. I believe that Don Holthaus drive one in same color as their toy show hauler for years.Don told me once that he changed the oil faithfully every 18 months whether it needed it or not. Also told me it had what he called a "sweet spot"at about 80 mph so he didn't baby it at all.
  5. Great looking truck model. The Labo doors are a nice touch. This will have lots of room for a wild interior if that's what you're planning. The possibilities are pretty much unlimited.
  6. I just saw one of your trucks featured in the contest issue of MCM.Congratulations.This another outstanding example of your excellent modeling skills.
  7. Really like the way you have incorporated the Ferrari front suspension into this chassis.Looking very cool my friend. Thanks for sharing.
  8. The wooden sides are going to be very neat for this vehicle.I'm personally glad to see one being built that isn't going to be a gasser.Enough gassers already!
  9. That would be a real bear to parallel park.
  10. This will give new meaning to the U-Haul advertisment for "low loading height".
  11. I believe you're headed in the right direction with this build.
  12. Your station seems to be right on the money for proportions and very accurately done.Did you have a real station to measure and draw plans from?Really nice work so for.The only bad thing about building scale gas stations is they take up so darn much room when they are finished.
  13. Thanks to the MCM staff for upgrading my status to Ohana. That is very much appreciated!!
  14. I did a search and this is the only build on this site right now that comes up when I use the search term"death ray"......hard to imagine huh!!
  15. Great model.Super clean build with sexy color choice and super nice BMF.
  16. Super slick.I absolutely love that color too!
  17. Absolutely stunning model ! The photos make it look so very real, great depth of field and focus. All of the paint is so right on the money.Congrats!!
  18. Stunning results on this one Harry. The real cars were so elegantly styled and built. You certainly have captured all of that in this build.
  19. Great build. The Modelhaus does absolutely the best stuiff on the market !!
  20. Nice model. My very first thought was that it has a made by Daryll Starbird look to it.
  21. Nice to see one of these built as a custom.Great job.
  22. Anyone else have any ideas?I have pumps I want to build but need handles to complete them.Maybe somebody has some in their spare parts box that they don't plan on using.
