  1. Thanks, thats just scotch tape painted silver and cut into strips to look like duct tape holding a sandwich bag made to look like a piece of plastic to cover the window.
  2. Now THAT is a great example of a sweet beach cruiser!!!
  3. Ok well thats pretty much all I have pics of at the moment... These pics are also probably 10yrs old. lol

  6. Still more...
  7. Built these over the years, mostly built during my teens, some younger. Enjoy. More coming...
  8. Built this before I joined, took some pics of it a while back to show someone, thought I'd post em here too... My first good two tone job as well.. These are also cellphone pics... sorry
  9. Hmm.. dunno why the pics are soo blurry... they look great any other time.
  10. Posting this for a friend of mine who's not on this forum. He started this car probably 10 years ago, and it wasnt the actual "Christine" kit, but he wanted to make it one, and so with some parts air cleaners I had, that dont exactly match the movie, he made it work. Better than the single carb it had. So, halfway thru, he moved out of his moms house, in to his grandmas house, then moved out, had a kid, then another one, and so his safe haven away from chaos is his basement, where he and I do our building. Long story short, he finally finished it. I made some movie-accurate license plates for it as well. Sorry for the slightly dark pics, from my cell phone, but here they are:

  12. Wow I want one of these... but where in the world would I put it??? its huge!
  13. I started working on this car again. I need to finish it so it's not on my mind that way I can finish my Charger. I've ditched the hilborns. I could NOT get them to stay glued to the intake. Even w/ CA glue. I've given up on them. I've switched back to the dual 4 barrel intake and high rise.
  14. gorgeous fox man...
  15. Great looking car. Looks like it would be a fun street car in real life!
  16. freaking awesome!
  17. I need to make some parts, and I've already spoken to a few resin casters who didnt feel it was cost effective to cast only a few. So i've decided to take it in to my own hands. I see that the Amazing Resins kit seems to be a good starter kit. Anyone have any recommendations or tips? I just need to reproduce an interior tub to a Fairlane. But if I'm going to start doing parts for myself, I may do more for myself later. Is this a worthwhile thing to look in to doing? I dont think I'd ever produce mainstream or sell, just to use on my own cars, or good friends cars.
  18. I sent him an email. Thank you for offering to help me out with this. Would gladly pay shipping to and from Jeff if needed!
  19. If you need more pics let me know. It's sitting out in the garage Any chance you do any resin casting? I really need a copy of that interior tub! I ordered my bucket seat/console from Modelhaus, and it looks pretty good! Ordered my Dash, seats/console, hood ornament, hubcaps, front/rear chrome bumpers, taillights and bezels, and I think thats it lol... got them just last week actually. nice stuff. I'll post a pic if you would like to see them. I plan to graft the underhood section of a '64 fairlane under the resin body of the '65 I picked up from A/FX years ago... And also use the shifter, and engine/trans from the Hertz '66 GT350H model for a more accurate engine. I'm pretty excited.
  20. Gorgeous!!! 30-31 5 windows are my favorite!! And actually, your in progress pics that I found on google images from a while back kept directing me here, and are what led me to sign up for this site!! I would love to see progress pictures on how to "Channel" a model car body/chassis, I've got a '32 glue bomb that I would love to do this to... but cant figure out how. Chopping is the easy part. At least w/ these old coupes.
  21. The first three pictures I would have almost bet were of a real full sized car... it looks great!
  22. holy smokes!!! Very cool!! I'm stockpiling parts to make an accurate replica of my dad's 1:1 '65 Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe! w/ the K-code 289 HiPo! Does that '65 have the original AMT interior tub??? I would DIE for a resin copy of that... I'm serious I need one BADLY.
  23. There's like no flashing whatsoever on these parts, which is nice. And they actually seem a bit heavier than plastic, they arent thin, they really do feel like high quality parts. I just really wish I could find an interior tub I'm not great at scratch building to try my hand at it yet.
  24. Ordered some parts from Modelhaus to add to my stash of '65 Fairlane parts for when I get to building a replica of my Dad's car... and I must say, super nice stuff! Took a while to get, but I knew that going in to it so no big deal there. If only someone made a correct '65 interior tub... I'm kinda bummed thats the only thing I cant find.
  25. Looks good! That commercial is awesome.... I love the black crown vic on the lift with the bullitt wheels on it! Pretty sure that's the commercial...
