  1. I've never owned that car, but atleast thats one place I can find it now. Here's what I've done with my decal... might just switch air cleaners out on another GT350H when I use it for parts for the car that I'm collecting parts for.
  2. That thing looks awesome!! The Camaro top almost fooled me! but once I saw a top shot I realized what it was! Only thing that looks out of place is the point window frame on the top rear of each side. Other than that, I'm completely fooled!! great work!
  3. http://www.scalemodelingbychris.com/smbc_partsp1.htm About a quarter of the way down...
  4. Hmm. I had one, and I used it on that engine when I built mine, but it stuck out in my head that it didnt come with it... thanks for confirming that... Now, to really think... where in the heck did I get that decal?!??
  5. I used to play Angry Birds... but burned myself out on it. Now I dont play any games on my phone, I use it for all the useful apps instead. Unless they had flight of the hampster on there, then I probably wont download anymore games lol

  9. Does it have the decal for the air cleaner that says 289 High Performance? I'm making a list of things to get to build another car that will use a model king kit, a resin body, and parts from this '66 Hertz car, actually, a good amount of stuff from this car to the point it may not be usable to me anymore... but thats beside the point.
  10. I dig it!! Now you got me wanting to build something similar!
  11. I havent been able to touch my Charger for a while now. Been too busy with other things.
  12. I watched it last night as well. I'm only 27 but I really like older music and grew up listening to the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, and all that. So I fee like I'm displaced in time. It was great to see those 2 together on stage, they still got it! I have a lot of vinyl records of the Beatles I picked up from someone about to trash them/donate them, and I've yet to make it thru all of them. I've got 10 milk crates of 33's in my room.
  13. I just cant get over your ability and vision to make something out of what others might have considered to be nothing! no wonder you're "crazy" keep up the good work!!!
  14. Looks great! Especially after being sat on I would have cut the cozy wings off the front glass and glue them to the door lol
  15. It's going to cost me quite a bit to get all the stuff I need, but I think it will be worth it to accurately replicate my Dad's '65 Fairlane 500 K-code Sports Coupe
  16. X2... I was doing the same thing as the OP.. making a body kit from putty...
  17. Looks fantastic. I'd call it more of a detail.
  18. Wow. They have far more than I thought i'd need. Thank you for suggesting them. That's perfect
  19. I received an email today in response to a question I had about the R&R Resin cars and according to Steve they are no longer available and so I pretty much missed the boat. I'm trying to make a replica of my dad's '65. But I needed the chrome front bumper/grille and the stock dash that the wagon came with.... anyone have these parts or could get them? I can probably scratch build the door panels and back seat but those 2 items are important. Plus I'm not good enough to build a dash that detailed Otherwise, can someone chrome my parts??
  20. Where is this write up in which you speak of? I would like to check it out
  21. Will have to see how things go. I havent been to a model car show or swap meet in like 15yrs or more!
  22. Looks great! I have the same impala a friend of mine gave me... but missing loads and loads of parts... Got any extra parts from all those cars youve built?
  23. I've got the Revell '68 Corvette roadster street machine that is a good chassis donor I would think... Wheels roll too. I made sure of that when I built it... body is no count (see my glue bomb galore post in trading post and youll see why)
  24. I've been looking for this one lately! Every time I go to the hobby store they dont have it, but they used to have a ton of them... oh well, go figure when I have the urge to build one! Looking good so far!
  25. that looks stellar! There's a guy on the mustang forum I'm on in Cincy that had an FHP car that was super clean
