  1. Two Lane Blacktop is a good movie if you can imagine putting yourself in their perspective. I see it as more of a true to life type of story like youre right there with them.
  2. Been too lazy to finish this one, wanted to recreate a moist/wet environment and have green spanish moss on the sides of this one to mimic a car I saw in a magazine once.
  3. My first attempt at using Sophisticated Finishes for rust i've used Testors "rust" paint in the past and dry-brushed it for a rusty effect, also their browns and light browns for mud and dirt.
  4. I'm seriously contemplating about bringing my entire setup back home. I would work on my cars more often.... I havent been to my friends house to work on my Charger for many weeks
  5. staring at the chassis' in the picture makes me realize how wrong the gas tanks are for those models. Looks like a Mustang II underneath.
  6. Looks great! Love the weathering! if it were mine, I'd add wheel/tire guards, window slats, and KC lights on the roof.
  7. I love H.B. Halicki's movies. Gone in 60 Seconds, Junkman, Deadline Auto Theft, and what little of Gone in 60 Seconds 2 that he made.
  8. I Second this... would like to know where to get that color.. does go pretty well for a stock primer color.
  9. I wouldnt mind having it. Just to have it. Car's got some history and a personality... be a shame to smash it.
  10. beautiful hot rod!
  11. I havent touched my Charger. I've been too busy being outside, and also working on my full sized '88 Mustang
  12. Need a chassis to that vette? I've got a '68 roadster that I started building... and made it rusty... before I realized vette's didnt rust or dent lol
  13. I love all these nostalgic builds!
  14. absolutely gorgeous car, and great work!
  15. No problem. I foresee that you may want to open up the wheelhousings and run a more correct nascar wheel/tire than what the Pro-Modeller kit comes with. The wheels/tires they come with are ok, but narrow.
  16. Fantastic work on the flares... I really like that!
  17. If you could get your hands on the Revell Pro-Modeller Dodge Daytona that was a 2'n'1 for a street car and a Nascar version. If so, I'd love to have the leftovers to make a stock street car Charger 500.
  18. Cant honestly say I've seen a stock pinto kit... I've seen the Johan drag cars...
  19. Anyone make any of that stuff? I've got a '77 Mustang II AMT model that I've had for a few years that I'd like to make a replica of my car, and all i've seen is turbo 2.3 stuff.. Thanks
  20. Funny, I bought one of these too on Ebay for 6 bucks... and yes... its a a crappy kit for sure!
  21. Forgot this one... '69 Hemi Charger. Saw one in a calendar that that inspired me to build this one... except the paint didnt turn out very well and was almost a total loss, I wanted to clear the lime green with a metallic or a pearl but didnt want to risk messing it up even more! I used the drag version Hemi, and mated the headers to the stock exhaust, and used street air cleaner from my friends left over '67 Charger 2n1 for a more factory look.
  22. Looks fantastic! I'm slowly working on a '55 Chevy barn find gasser as well!
  23. Fantastic work FreakShow... looks great!!!
  24. Love it! Makes me want to pick this one up now! I too passed on it before... but this looks great! and aluminum slots look great on ANY 70's custom!!
  25. I've seen these kits on ebay cheap, but its too hideous for me to buy lol! You'll be doing it a favor updating the front end Dan!
