  1. I love H.B. Halicki's movies. Gone in 60 Seconds, Junkman, Deadline Auto Theft, and what little of Gone in 60 Seconds 2 that he made.
  2. I Second this... would like to know where to get that color.. does go pretty well for a stock primer color.
  3. I wouldnt mind having it. Just to have it. Car's got some history and a personality... be a shame to smash it.
  4. beautiful hot rod!
  5. I havent touched my Charger. I've been too busy being outside, and also working on my full sized '88 Mustang
  6. Need a chassis to that vette? I've got a '68 roadster that I started building... and made it rusty... before I realized vette's didnt rust or dent lol
  7. I love all these nostalgic builds!
  8. absolutely gorgeous car, and great work!
  9. No problem. I foresee that you may want to open up the wheelhousings and run a more correct nascar wheel/tire than what the Pro-Modeller kit comes with. The wheels/tires they come with are ok, but narrow.
  10. Fantastic work on the flares... I really like that!
  11. If you could get your hands on the Revell Pro-Modeller Dodge Daytona that was a 2'n'1 for a street car and a Nascar version. If so, I'd love to have the leftovers to make a stock street car Charger 500.
  12. Cant honestly say I've seen a stock pinto kit... I've seen the Johan drag cars...
  13. Anyone make any of that stuff? I've got a '77 Mustang II AMT model that I've had for a few years that I'd like to make a replica of my car, and all i've seen is turbo 2.3 stuff.. Thanks
  14. Funny, I bought one of these too on Ebay for 6 bucks... and yes... its a a crappy kit for sure!
  15. Forgot this one... '69 Hemi Charger. Saw one in a calendar that that inspired me to build this one... except the paint didnt turn out very well and was almost a total loss, I wanted to clear the lime green with a metallic or a pearl but didnt want to risk messing it up even more! I used the drag version Hemi, and mated the headers to the stock exhaust, and used street air cleaner from my friends left over '67 Charger 2n1 for a more factory look.
  16. Looks fantastic! I'm slowly working on a '55 Chevy barn find gasser as well!
  17. Fantastic work FreakShow... looks great!!!
  18. Love it! Makes me want to pick this one up now! I too passed on it before... but this looks great! and aluminum slots look great on ANY 70's custom!!
  19. I've seen these kits on ebay cheap, but its too hideous for me to buy lol! You'll be doing it a favor updating the front end Dan!
  20. Looks like a Fairlane to me.
  21. Thanks everyone. I havent had a lot of time to make it to my friends house to work on this thing. I'm anxious to get it done though!
  22. Building season is pretty much over for me too. I might work on my kits once, maybe twice a month and only for maybe an hour or two. Its hard to drive about 60 miles to work on something that isnt a necessity. When I need to drive 40 miles to work on my Lincoln that is a necessity.
  23. The Thunderbolt is probably one of my oldest builds! Probably pre-teen, built it with my dad when I was a kid! I still vaguely remember doing it
  24. Steve said that the fairlane stuff wasnt available anymore. I am working w/ another member on here in locating an interior tub.
  25. The combination of this trailer, that drag car, and your plymouth is a stellar vintage combo!!!! I really like it!
