I normally use Guards Red, but since I can't find it anymore I was forced to use a simple Testor's red.

The newer Revell version. Been wanting another 68 for awhile. The kit is pretty nice and I love how it had the dog dish rims in the kit. I believe I saw someone on here the other day that did one and had a problem with the front end. I did as well. The A-frame for the front wheels doesn't line up right. It pushes the piece for the turn lights up; which in turn messes the grill up. I eventually had to super glue it down. Didn't realize my grill wasn't quite in place at the time. Still it came out looking alright despite the set backs. SAM_1362 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1363 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1364 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1365 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

Been wanting one for awhile since I first found out there was a model of one. The kit is pretty nice, but it has its flaws. It's molded in black, plated, and white with some over molding on certain pieces. Pieces like the grill, which broke on me. There's also some fit issues on the underside. The drive shaft is a little too long and the rear wheel placement is slightly off. That was actually where the start of my issues began. I like that they have a nicely detailed engine for it though. I also like that they add decals for the plates, but not the emblems or gauges. Over all it did come out nice. Thanks everyone. That color was a custom color I mixed with a few different paints I had on hand. They were all the wrong paints for other models I wanted and I had no other use for them, so I decided to try a custom paint mix. -

Thanks. I forgot to mention the hood fit issue as well. You can kinda see it in the pic. I'm guessing it's a sizing issue.

A friend got me one for Christmas. Not a bad kit. Thinking of switching out the mirrors later. SAM_1358 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1359 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1360 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1361 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

Got this a couple months ago. Kit was missing the decals. It's not a bad kit, but there were a few fit issues with the chassis and exhaust. SAM_1355 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_1356 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr

It looks alright. You should tackle the cars of Fallout next.

I've been wanting to do this myself. The model came out good. I had the same problem with the front end of my 68 kit too. The front suspension keeps the piece for the lights from fitting properly. I had to use super glue and hold it in place just to try to get a slightly good fit. It was tough, but I got it to look ok. I haven't had a chance to get pics yet. I just finished it this past weekend.

I love it. Looks a lot better than how mine came out.

Looks WAY better than how mine came out. That kit is a dumpster fire. Excellent job. -
