  1. Very cool project. Excellent skills, and execution. Im diggin that front axle also. Nice work all around.
  2. Great job Chuck. This is a cool conversion to the updated chassis.
  3. Looking good Sean. I have a few of these stashed. Ive always loved these cabovers.
  4. That looks great Pat. Much better. I wasn't trying to be a pain, its just the hood looks so much better after you modified it. After you pointed out the grill, it kinda stuck out. The work your doing is great, and Im sure youll take great pride in this build when its done. Im sure it will bring back some memories of the real truck.
  5. This is coming along nice Pat. Nice mods to the hood. I think at this point, now that its all cut apart, I would just scratch a new grill. Now that youve pointed out the flaws, that means I will be making these changes on my cab.
  6. Cool project. I look forward to watching this build. I would imagine that the 1/32 spoke wheels look better than the 1/25 Ford wheels.
  7. Looks great. What type of motor are you going with?
  8. You never disappoint me Jarda! This build is just fantastic. I love the work on the fenders. This has got to be some of the best scratchbuilding that Ive seen.
  9. I figured it was scratchbuilt. Its too clean and straight to be resin! Fine job sir, I like it.
  10. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Yeah, theyre a little "new" for my taste. The Freightliner was a Ryder truck before we bought it, and the 377 was a Steelecase truck. I drove the Pete a little, and it was a hell of a puller with the 3406 turned up. We sold it about 5 years ago. Its got a Cummins in it now. I forget where it ended up.
  11. I finally got some primer on the mixer. Now Ill start more sanding, and lay the base coat. Thats all for now.
  12. Small update for the weekend. I robbed a 428 from a 69 mustang kit. I used the standard trans from the F100 kit. Heres a pic of another Diamond T that I sourced for the wrecker gear.
  13. This looks awesome. Ill be following this!
  14. These are two trucks that I built for our trucking company years ago. Thevye been sitting in the office collecting dust for quite awhile. I estimate that I built them in 2000 or so. These were my first two Italeri kits. The Pete has a resin 3406 from RNK resins as is the headache rack. The wheels were swapped out for some round hole Italeri Alcoas. The trailer is a modified Italeri container trailer turned into a spread axle flatbed. The FLD has a small sleeper swapped in with modified fenders, 2hole buds made from stock Italeri wheels, and scratchbuiltnheadache rack. They are in desperate need of TLC. Maybe Ill get them back one day.
  15. Thanks for the info guys. Dan, I think that resin Dana 70 is the ticket. I like accurate!
  16. Nice job. Looks clean. The paint job looks good.
  17. Nice job on that Two story Falcon. That thing is awesome! Can you give some more details on the build? Motor, donor kit, is that resin cab, or did you scratchbuild?
  18. Very cool. I like it. I can tell that a lot of TLC went into this build. The paint work is amazing, as is the stance of the truck. Very cool build all the way around.
  19. Dont forget the very limited run of the Autocar Challenge mixer. Thats a hard one to find.
  20. Dang Chuck, thats two heavy weights. Congrats on the Autocar.
  21. Great job. I like the long frame. This is the first build of this cab that Ive seen. Who cast the cab, and what was the quality of the casting?
  22. Thats exactly the style I want. Will you trade it for a green oily motor?(Lol)
  23. Im with you guys. I wouldnt mind seeing this reissued. Im not really a fan of the AMT tanker. I have a few of the IMC tankers, a few Italeri tankers, and now these two.
  24. Thanks guys. Can anyone help me find an accurate rear end for this thing? Im assuming the F-350s had a Dana 60, 80? Brian, I think I want a rectangular light bar for the roof. Would you happen to have one?
  25. Someone tell Indiana Jones that I found the holy grail, twice! Yes, I finally paid ebay prices for two of these chrome tankers. I also got a decent deal on the FLD to replace two that I sold because I thought I would never build them.
