  1. Good to know. It looks way better than the kit chrome. I usually throw these revell wheels in the junk box, but you made them look better.
  2. Outstanding work Pavel. I dont know how I missed this one. I always enjoy watching your builds. You have taken this kit up a few levels in detail. I really like the plumbing and weathering, and the alclad on the wheels really makes them look better.
  3. Cool project, and nice work so far. Ill be following.
  4. Excellent build. This is the best build of this kit that Ive seen. Fine job.
  5. Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to all of you guys. This is a great bunch of builders here. Heres a little something I did that will appeal to the little kid in all of us. Dear Santa!!
  6. What a nice clean combo. I like the color scheme, and that trailer looks amazing. I dont think Ive ever built an Ertl van trailer. Is that alclad, or is the kit chromed?
  7. Great job Sean.I like it a lot. Im a big fan of the old cabovers as well.
  8. Great builds guys! Sean, I hadnt seen the current progress of that Pete 353. That truck definitely has its own personality. I like it.
  9. Thanks guys. These are great builds from everyone.
  10. Heres all I got, these two junkers
  11. That looks like a power assist add on. Its just a hydraulic ram mounted behind the stock steering linkage.
  12. Awesome build! My memory must be failing me, as I dont remember this truck in the movie. I remember the Autocar, the B model that blows up, and of course the Western Star with the green face. Excellent job. Im interested to know what kit this started as, and what you built the hood and fenders from. My guess is a Diamond Reo with modified Autocar A64B fenders?
  13. Looks good. Is the chassis going to be the orange color?
  14. That sounds like a great resource. Could you post a pic of it? I wouldnt mind getting that myself.
  15. Wow Dennis, what an exceptional build! I have been waiting to see this finished, but I wasnt ready. This has got to be the coolest roll-off model that Ive seen. The detailing is outstanding, and the scratchbuilding on the roll-off is as well. Great job!
  16. That is too cool Chuck! Its a nice change of pace from the standard Dodge L700, or Ford C900. Great idea, and great execution. I love it.
  17. I really like this. The wheel swap is perfect. This is a seriously great build. Fine job!
  18. Yes sir, here you go http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/91987-brockway-361-let-out-of-the-bag/
  19. Actually it was in Pensacola, Florida only a few miles north of the Interstate. I met the guy at a model show and finally got to go see his store.
  20. He had a bunch of older kits on the shelves along with some new stuff. He also had an Aeromax, some old amt Nascar van trailers, ALF fire trucks, and tons of planes, armor, and cars. It was a nice mixture of old and new.
  21. I picked these up at a HS while on vacation. I want to try my hand at detailing a 1/43 one day.
  22. Sean thats one of my favorite movies. The Outlaw Western Star crashing the gate at the picket line is my favorite part.I wish they would remaster that movie and put it on dvd.
  23. Thanks David. The kit used is the Italeri Jumbo tanker. Its the same kit as the current "Topaz" tanker.I was just in Orlando this week.
