  1. Excellent work. That cab looks great, and good thinking on repairing the hood. Your not too far off from the 1:1 because it would have had a brace under there. So youve actually taken your hood detail up a notch. Im glad to hear that you scored more trucks. I look forward to seeing them.
  2. Looking very good Dan. Nice work.
  3. Nice work. You should try a bigger truck. You might find it addictive. Can we all be friends now?
  4. All I can smell is BBQ Ostrich
  5. There are po-boys in California? Please tell me there not full of avocado and alfalfa sprouts.
  6. Great options on both! I will definitley start building some in this scale now.
  7. Bad Rodneys Brake Oil
  8. Big Red Barbaque Ostrich
  9. Bill Riley Brass Orchestra
  10. Brown Rubber Band Organization
  11. Only the 351, 353, and some other off highway models had butterfly hoods. The 359 was always a tilt, but in the modeling world anything goes. Me personally, I think a butterfly 359 would be cool. The fenders would have to be mounted to the frame, but it could work.
  12. Excellent choice Angel. Thats a nice rig. Will you swap in some modern Alcoas to pull off the look of the poster truck?
  13. Even better! I like the bug shield. Its a very simple detail that always gets overlooked.
  14. Wow! Good score Jacobus. I need to get those two IH's myself. I have plenty of Paystars, but not the logger.
  15. Sean, Im a little jealous. 58-60 are my favorite year Chevy/GMC trucks.
  16. The kits that come with those wheels are the Ford C600 and the Diamond Reo. I have plenty of them if you need a set for a build.
  17. Excellent idea! Im looking forward to this.
  18. Great job and great build. This thing is cool. The weathering is perfect and very realistic. Can you tell us more about it, was it a resin kit, scratch built, what chassis donor did you use?
  19. Nice job Sean. It really came out great. The Alclad really takes the look to the next level.Im going to browse the whole thread from the beginning.
  20. I finally got my hands on a 58 Chevy promo pickup. Ive been hunting one for awhile. They pop up occasionally, but they go for a high price. Ive been holding out for a good deal, and Im satisfied. The plan is to turn it into one of these.
