  1. Thanks a lot guys. Moving right along, I was able to get a lot of work done today. I mounted the radiator to the frame before I start fabbing any cab hinges. From there I made some relief cuts in the resin interior tub to clear the radiator tank and the turbo. The resin was thick enough so that all I needed to do was cut out a section and re-skin the inside with .010 styren sheet, and not actually build a visible protruding box for clearance. The turbo on the other hand needed a box. That will be hidden by some fancy fab work on the passenger seat. Im still rolling, and may still have another update later tonight. Here are the cuts made to the tub Here its been built back in with styrene The underside
  2. Wow! Those are amazing. This is great stuff man.
  3. Fine work Dennis. Im really looking forward to watching this truck come together. Those Plaskit parts look great. This is going to be one heck of a build.
  4. Another fine rig from your shop Ken. I like your style.
  5. Nice work Jacobus. I really like the way this is coming together.
  6. Progress rolls along on the KW.I mounted the fuel tank mounts and temporarily attached the tanks. The air cleaner and battey box have also been mounted. I started adding to the frame where I will make the cab tilt mechanism. I cut out the tool box doors on the cab and cut out the new doors from styrene.
  7. Congrats Mike. Thats a hard kit to come by!
  8. Looking good Vic.Nice work.
  9. Heres the end-of-month report. I havent gotten any more work done on the KW. Ive been collecting what photograghs I can find of bare cabs. I want to get as much as I can to be accurate on the inside of the cab. There are a few more sections of the cab to cut out, but I need to strengthen some areas first. Onward to March!
  10. I was going to say the same thing. I think yellow and white is the best combo. I would paint the front hubs yellow as well.
  11. Vey nice progress Dan. I dont think I would have done anything different. It looks great. I saw in the pics that you swapped in the rear springs from the WF dual drive kit. Thats a nice touch.
  12. Wow! Another great build. I love the modifications to the tractor. The subtle weathering is perfect also. Nice work on the trailer also. This is a great combo. I love everything about it. Great job.
  13. Wow Juergen, that looks amazing. Great job. This may be the best build of this kit that Ive seen.
  14. Very cool, great looking parts. Thanks for sharing this.
  15. Nice work. It looks great.
  16. Thats what I figured. So the box is incorrect.
  17. I would leave it sealed unless I had a really strong plan to build it immediatley. Then again, I Would probably just open it to see whats unique about it. Nevermind.......
  18. It looks good black! They got the wheels backwards though. Its supposed to be spokes in the back, Alcoas up front. It looks good with that tanker. Great job.
  19. So is the Kenworth really 1/24? Or is the same as every other revell Kenworth? Nice score. That looks like 3 really cool kits.
  20. I would go with option 2 and load it full of logs.
  21. The old Green Dragons with the screamin 6-71s! Im sure I have a few of those. I found a few pics of a white Briggadere. I have more to go through.
  22. Im not sure which type of trucks Winn Dixie ran in North Carolina, but down here they ran GMC 9500s, then GMC Briggaderes, then Volvos.I may have some pics of the 9500s. I know in Texas they ran some Macks, and in Florida they ran some Fords and IH transtars. Ill try to dig out what I have.
  23. Nice fix. That paint job looks great.
  24. BTW, where did you get the cummins?
  25. Hi Bryan. Just multiply all of your dimensions by 24 to get the 1:1 dimensions, then divide them by 25 to get the 1/25 dimensions. I would like to see one of these built. Ive never built one myself, but if I had a blueprint I would.
