  1. Take it on the run- REO Speedwagon
  2. Its certainly not for everyone. I swear my dad could dump one with the truck jackknifed and not flip it. Ive also never met anyone that could get through the gears as fast as him, my brother was close tho, but my old man could speed shift double sticks like nobody else.
  3. I know the feeling, but the frame trailers are a little harder to flip than the frameless. All it takes is some clay stuck up front and itll go right over. We had an all steel frame trailer that had been flipped, and it was so tweaked, even after being cut apart and straightened, that it felt like it was gonna go back over everytime. We didnt have that one long.
  4. Wow!! Dennis I love everything about this truck. The colors are perfect, the door decals are awesome, theres nothing overdone, its simple in a classic way. Great job man!! Now hook it up to that Rogers!! Excellent work
  5. Suddenly we heard the sirens And everybody started to run I told her dont be scared Cause your gonna be spared I gotta be forgiven if I wanna spend my livin with a.........
  6. For the curved corners on your cowl, it comes in handy to save sleeper roofs, and air spoilers etc for things like that. Ive scratchbuilt many cabs, and Ive been bailed out several times by using pieces like that. The top corners of a sleeper roof would have been perfect, but Ive done it with putty just like you did. Whenever I kitbash an Aero truck, I throw all of that stuff in a junkbox. Its been usefull in scratchbuilding more often than not. Great job, by the way. Im enjoying this build.
  7. American Girl- Tom Petty
  8. Vasoline- STP
  9. Thanks for posting this. Ive seen pics of this truck before, I think in a magazine, but I didnt understand the significance. This explains it.
  10. I know the song but cant think of the title. That album is one of my favorites. Then came the last days of may is a great song.
  11. I knew a moron(good friend) in high school that actually though the racing stripes on his car made it faster. Honest truth.
  12. The only one that I dont have is a kit containing the lowboy and the Cat D8 dozer. Ive only seen one, and I should have jumped on it. The California Hauler was one until it was reissued. Here are the others. KW mixer Original issue Pete wrecker AMT MPC Mack DM800 with dump trailer MPC Mack DM800 mixer AMT Big Rig Set Coors Freightliner with trailer Original Autocar dumper sealed Revell KW Dump truck with tag a long trailer Ertl extendable flatbed
  13. I gained 2 horsepower by changing my headlight bulbs, and putting stickers on my fenders. Lets race!!!
  14. The kits are different, but they are similar enough if you want to crossbreed them. I mix match diamond reos, whites, and autocar kits all the time. They are different trucks, but not as different as a mack and a peterbilt.
  15. I agree on the S.B.F.A. Diamond Reo
  16. Ive been trying for 15 min, and I cant decide.

  22. Chuck, Id load that thing up with old engines, or truck cabs or something like that. I can see this with some short sides on the trailer loaded with auto scrap.
