  1. Not a bad kit overall. Don't usually build showroom stock. First time BMFing the scripts and emblems, painting, then scraping. Probably the last time. The only real prob I had was the chassis was warped. Had to cut off the front and rear valences and mount separately. First time using the chrome pen too. The chrome decided to come out of the side more than the tip. At first, I used tape as a mask, but used brushing mask for the windshield. When I took off the masking with a qtip, it dulled the chrome a bit. Tried to paint the whitewalls but they weren't molded very well, so I went with blackwalls.
  2. Great build.
  3. Sweet! A winner for sure.
  4. The first Hot Rod movie they showed last night was a Monogram Films production. I wonder if it's related to the model company.
  5. Foiling the rocker panel isn't wrong. Build it your way.
  6. It's on my to-to list. And, yes, have plans for new treads. Nice build-up Dan!
  7. Changin' the subject a bit, although not kitted but scratch-built:
  8. Physically on the bench: Redo of the vintage Bugs Buggy, 71 Tbird, and the 1/16 Rod Shop Vette redo (need decals). After that, your guess is as good as mine.
  9. Sweet. Nice detail too.
  10. Good work.
  11. What, no SBC! You are my new best friend for using a flattie.
  12. Built like a 1:1. Great detail, color combo, and weathering. All that's missing is a can for the radiator overflow.
  13. All I can say is Wow!
  14. Along the lines of the Snake45's threads, happy 510 day for those of us who admire Datsuns. I own a 1971. cheers
  15. Love it!
  16. Wow! Awesome, just like the rest of your builds.
  17. Just something to consider - you can buy one size pen and get different size tips as the are removable and interchanable. I asked Art Primo when they would get the 1mm pen in stock and customer service told me about the tips. A pair of 1mm tips is $2.99.
  18. 1955 Caddy. My dad was out of the picture, my mom didn't want it, my sister sold it for $200. I was in junior high not old enough to drive but told my sister to hold on to it.
  19. You have so much talent.
  20. I don't have a pic, but on the instructions for the 70's kit Bugs Buggy, Roll Bar is spelled Role Bar.
  21. Nice build.
  22. Although one can get them in resin, these were rebuilt UCT originals. The Unreal Edsel funny car or the pre-rebuilt UCT was probably the first model I built. The Edsel is being rebuilt. I hope to post my Bugs Buggy in a few weeks.
  23. Thanks for the heads up Bill. Now I can get rid of my ear plugs! HD is out of stock right now and it's only $128.
