  1. Mine has been sitting in a box for probably 25 years! I never really had much desire to build it until I started thinking about building the Grand Prix and Bonneville. Then I thought about how cool it would be to build all three of these '64 Ponchos together. I nearly traded off the LeMans a few months ago! Steve
  2. Uh....yeah. Maybe in 2021. Steve
  3. Now you see why I'll need a ton of them! Steve
  4. You forgot MPC and Johan. Two of my favorites. Yeah, I know, they no longer exist, and they were pretty simplified for the most part. But they had a lot of great subject matter, and in general, at least the bodies were beautifully proportioned. Steve
  5. And even in that case, MPC did a '69 Coronet R/T in 1/25th scale. Granted, not an easy one to find, but it lends itself to many more modification possibilities than the Monogram kit. Steve
  6. This is what I really hope to get deep into over the next year. Seems like it would be a ton of fun!! A trio of 1964 Pontiacs. Bonneville, Grand Prix and LeMans. Steve
  7. I'm going to need a bunch of them! Steve
  8. Should be very easy to cast, either in resin or 2 part epoxy. A simple single half mold is all that is required. Steve
  9. Right. Unless you're interest is foreign cars, there are basically only a handful of Monogram 1/24th scale kits, most of which can be substituted with better examples in 1/25th scale. Steve
  10. If we're talking only 1/24th scale, I'm basically not interested in any of them. Steve
  11. Because I don't think most of us thought that the question was designed to be that specific. If we're only talking about 1/24th scale, that eliminates quite a few manufacturers. Let's ask the OP. Is this discussion supposed to be limited to only 1/24th scale? Steve
  12. Looking nice! I guess that I have to finally submit and buy some of these carbs! I haven't looked. Does anyone know if he carries 60s Pontiac tri-power carbs! I have several 1964 Ponchos I hope to be building in the near future. Steve
  13. Help, help, I'm being repressed! Steve
  14. Funny! It's on tv right now. The Outlaw Jose Wales. Steve
  15. These are all from the same movie. "You two are just dumber than a bag of hammers." "Those boys desecrated a burning cross!" "Oh George.....Not the livestock." Steve
  16. Looks exactly like my AMT 1961 Pontiac Bonneville top. Probably fits the '61 Impala as well. Steve
  17. Chicken Florentine Pasta. Steve
  18. Not for dinner yet, but will be. Got a very good deal on whole pork loin at a favorite super market. $1.19 per pound. Got around an 11 pound loin for about $13.00 and cut and wrapped it myself. It ought to last the wife and I a good while. If we ate more pork, I would have bought several of them. Steve
  19. Well, I'll just put it this way, I love modeling, but not enough to make it a "vacation destination". The wife and I get one, or possibly two vacations a year and they are very precious to us. If I have to decide between having a drink with Tom Daniels or touring along a beautiful mountain road in the Rockies, it's not much of a competition. (No offense Mr. Daniels!) I enjoy going to the occasional show, but it's not important enough to me to get too involved with it. If it's near enough to me to drive to in an afternoon, I'm game. If not, it better wind up on an already preset route, or I'm out. Steve
