Had the chance to pick up a numbers matching 70 El Camino SS396 with a freshly rebuilt drivetrain in 1982 for $1,500. Gas was going up and instead I bought a brand new S-10 with a 4 cylinder Isuzu engine! Had fun with the S-10 but the 'Camino would have been much more fun!

The window section of the cab looks off, like it is chopped down and not proportioned in scale. I like the idea of something different and there definitely wasn't a lot of these on the road!

If I had the correct 6 Powerball numbers one of these would be in my garage!

Nice truck and should look great when done. Maybe it is me but for some reason that cab looks out of scale compared to the rest of truck, seems somewhat small compared to the hood and dump body.

I had the table at the far end on the right side as you walked in. You may have bought a kit or two from me or my wife, I had on a Pepsi Tshirt. Sold a bunch of kits, one guy bought 8 kits and gave away one of the boxes I hauled them in so he could carry them out to his car easier! Thinking about that July show, is it as big as the Simpsonville show? I still have some kits to get rid of, even after selling off close to 50 yesterday!

Had a great time at this show- met some forum members and talked with quite a few people as I sold a bunch of kits, at least 45!

I have 7 large boxes of kits I plan on selling, hopefully something you are looking for! Look for the fat old guy with a sun burned forehead!

I think the fact that you are able to stop in makes a big difference.It is easier to talk face to face with someone than making an international call to someone in the US. If he is serious about selling on the internet, he should take the time to update his website. Would love to buy some stuff from him but until I hear some positive news, I will hold off.

I have that kit and can tell you that it is hard to tell that it is not a plastic styrene kit from one of the manufacturers! You will not be disappointed with the quality!

Replicas and Minatures of Maryland has them , SRD 7104 is the SS hood and SRD 7103 is the flat hood. These are designed for the Revell kits.

You will definitely hear that one coming down the street- thump, thump, thump!
