  1. Kinda related, thought I'd ask it here. We all know there are countless Cobra and Cobra coupe replicas out there. But what about AC Aces or Acecas?
  2. Testor's has one. You can find some of the older Maisto diecasts have trailers, one I know is a 1/27 scale Hummer with a BMW.
  3. He was in the wrong. The BBC will come crawling back to them eventually... Unless they still have the name "Top Gear." If they do, Clarkson and crew will find a new name on another network. They'll be back in some guise.
  4. Yep, you can go and look up a Revell model, hit the link to their site, and download a PDF of the instructions.
  5. Well, I suppose what I was thinking was a Kammback wagon that was found in a junkyard, then the body was pulled and dropped on a dragster frame.
  6. My father once worked at a place in Belfast, Maine. It was called the Bug Shop, and it was all Volkswagens. For a mobile billboard, they shortened a VW Bus, painted the shop logo on it, and put a Porsche engine in it. He said they drove it once and it was terrifying. They then parked it out front of the shop and it never drove again as far as he knew. After the first shop burned down, my dad went to work somewhere else and he doesn't know what fate befell the Bus. It'd be cool to see now.
  7. Why were the Cadillac covers dropped from the Blue Beetle? GM not wanting a name of theirs on a Ford product?
  8. So I decided to crank out some programming on the Dino 200. Dusted it off and went out to the living room with it. Started it and was greeted with a screen full of black pixels. Batteries? Pulled em and replaced em. Same thing. Finally, I got it to turn on. All of my programs were gone, gone forever. Well, I only spent 7 hours on one of them debugging... So I pulled it apart, took off the screen, cleaned a few connections around the internal clock battery. Seems to be working fine. Just plunked in a simple piano prog for a test and it works disco. Time will tell.
  9. Sounds like they were across the other side of the highway.
  10. Slick Vettes. Love the removable hardtop.
  11. Why is it that I get a craving for honey orange chicken at 11:34 at night? Oh well, cereal will have to suffice.
  12. It doesn't look like an extremely complicated mod on any existing kit anyways.... Maybe just grease a couple palms with a resin caster to get a body cast, and use existing parts to make a conversion kit.... ...but! *gasp* Could it be that he wants to be greedy! No! It couldn't be!
  13. Tri-Fives are dime-a-dozen anyways, so why not?
  14. I'd buy a box of mystery parts. It'd be kinda cool.
  15. Sorry, guys. Been a while. Here's what I'm working with. Wheels/tires from some unknown funny car. Probably change out the rear slicks with AMT Goodyear Blue Streaks, but time will tell. The engine is from a Revell Super Bee, I think a 1969. Need to make headers for it. The frame is from a Monza dragster. It needs to be chopped a little, and I need a rear axle. Front axle will be provided from a Monogram Duster's Last Stand, the frame of which got stepped on. The front axle has springs on it, so that's one less thing to worry about. I'm still designing decals for the names. I like Snakey and KammNation.
  16. That's why I've avoided earbuds. I went for a big pair of 70s monitor headphones from Goodwill and converted them to stereo. I don't crank my music up too loud with them. My mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister were all born with hearing loss and have to use hearing aids.
  17. Facebook now allows GIFs on Messenger.
  18. Interesting idea! Like it!
  19. It's not supposed to be "Jensen Interceptor Reborn," it's supposed to be "Jensen GT, Inspired by the Jensen Interceptor." Imagine us saying the same thing about the '71 Mustang not looking like the '64.5 Mustang.
  20. Put on my auto-lace shoes this morning, and went out for a ride on my Mattel Hoverboard.
  21. Bigger headlights would help the front-end a bit more, make it look more like the original. The concept ones look too undersized for the rest of the car. I do like the low-slung design of the body without looking too "Hot Wheels"-ish.
  22. Are you going to have this casted when it's done?
