  1. I pushed quite hard on it and it didn't force the bit back up. Drills holes like nothing.
  2. Yep. I messed up the first time.
  3. How could one possibly be lonely in polka dot shorts?
  4. I went from not wanting to comment, to commenting, to puzzled.
  5. The times is really cheap the way I've seen em through the Forz Of which there's about half a dozen on the base of my resort You wouldn't think I'd have too many Since I've never cared for sports But I'm never really lonely in my _____ _____
  6. I liked Supernatural but I never had time to catch up with it. I got through two seasons and forgot about it. Great show, though.
  7. How about this. A model is around $20-$26. $23x12(months)=$276 Knock a little off, $250. A subscription for model kits! Pay once a year and they'll send you one every month! Thought I'd give the idea.
  8. Some people like to see the world burn. I saw John's trike. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
  9. Ah, well you see, that's the thing. People OUTSIDE the hobby. Different! I could boot up my Gateway and say, "Why doesn't it have an option to boot directly into TV mode?" Not being a high-level programmer and understanding the struggles of how it works, I basically have no frame of reference. People who aren't in the hobby wouldn't know how hard it would be to get even halfway with a well-executed model, and then make it 100% on top of that! "You have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who walks into the middle of a movie and wonders what's going on!"
  10. The 0.7 pencils seem to be the most common. Another thing about this is how my pinvise actually had one jaw mashed in so I'd drilled crooked, so in a way it's better. Besides, I can hook it in my shirt pocket.
  11. Exactly. As Sinatra said: "That's life And as funny as it may seem Some people get their kicks Stompin' on a dream"
  12. In the end, why does it matter? Are you wondering why they mess up sometimes? -divorce -drugs -stress -disease -locusts -a terrible flood I think we got it.
  13. 'Where are the "professional" standards....' Car good. Car bad. I analyze them this way most times.
  14. Just don't like Plant. Besides, they're way too touted as being the best rock band by a lot of people. Whatever, I'll leave my opinions somewhere else.
  15. ^now that's funny
  16. About six inches of snow fell today. Some melted already, was a darn mess on the road.
  17. Here's a solution! Mechanical pencil! Doesn't fit all bits, but it does the .028 bit, which I found is a good GP bit. Extend however much you like!
  18. This one's been sinking down into the thread Anyways, I drilled the rustholes a little yesterday. I was looking for a "birdshot" look. It's not exact, but it's good, I think. I'll rust em up later. Notice how I also drilled out the doorlock hole on the green door? The Model Master paint covered it up....
  19. I always build the interior, chassis, and engine first and get it rolling. Then I paint the body and when it dries add on the body parts. Unless it's a model of a car with replaced or rebuilt parts, I'll do this before weathering, but most times not.
  20. Bandages and bullets, yes Bodybags and shovels... Maybe.
  21. Bottom line, if it's not your work, you can't force someone to live up to your expectations because you want em to.
