This was You Know That I'm No Good by Amy Winehouse... I was really hoping someone would get this. Worth a listen, such a great jazzy voice.

How about a big rig diesel engine in a car? It wouldn't look like it could pull a lot, but it certainly could -

Love that episode, too! I suppose I'm Kidney Boy. -
KROQ, a station in California, has this hella rad huge concert about this time every year called the Almost Acoustic Christmas. It's on now! Check out the webcast here: http://kroq.cbslocal.com/the-24th-annual-kroq-almost-acoustic-christmas-webcast/ Lotsa good bands here, including Weezer, Modest Mouse, and my favorite No Doubt! Shoulda put it up yesterday, since this is the last day, and it's almost over today, but you can catch No Doubt and a few other good ones soon.... Rock on!

More work... Making a fence for next to the road. Don't worry, it's supposed to look bad at this point. -
Well, yesterday...

Triumph GT6 - red or BR Green VW Notch - light blue or cream VW Squareback - green or orange Lotus Elite - BR Green '70 Chevelle SS - Champagne Gold I'll probably think of more. And I just did! Old Eldorados - sea foam green or pink 1980s Crown Vics - white or brown -
The ERTL Scout II. Sure, it's simple, wasn't very detailed, and had the weird tire thing going on, but it holds a special place in my heart. It was among the first few that I built and i had all of them taken away from me when I was about seven or so. Then, a few months ago (or more, I can't really remember now) I found the box of them in the cellarway Memories flooding back... The White-Freightliner single-axle that I never managed to put together fully and painted the interior with purple paint, the screw-bottom GTO i detailed for my dad and actually didn't destroy it at all, the terrible Revell Cuda painted in Lime Pearl with the whole top brush-painted with black Testors glop.... And, the Scout. Poor thing at the bottom of the box, the International Blue paint helplessly calling out... I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. The glass was unsaveable, and so was most of the engine. Needs new taillights, wheels, tires, suspension, and most of the interior. The roof actually melted a little in places because of the Testors glue I so loved to pour on kits back then!

What kind of music.....
chunkypeanutbutter replied to Hot_Rod_Bob's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't always have music on, but usually it's a big mix.... 60s stuff, classic country (the only stuff I can stand), QUOTSA, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Hendrix sometimes, The Who, RHCP, No Doubt (obviously), Neil Young, even Luciano Pavarotti sometimes -
Who WOULDN'T want to see an old black-and-white movie? I went to the theatre in Ellsworth a couple years ago and saw Charlie Chaplin's The Gold Rush... Still funny today. Really funny.

I never saw the kit before, so I looked it up. I have the fender flares for that! The weird metallic-y blue plastic ones.

To some people it was... Personally I don't care about many things anyways...

A song that proves that women sing better than men... "Your rolled up sleeves and your skull t-shirt You say 'Why did you do it with him today And sniff me out like I was takeaway?' By the time I'm out the door You tear me down like Roger Moore"

Tossing ideas around after blackwashing the road and putting more Beige on the grass for bald spots and such.... Something about the Uzi here really speaks to me. Maybe it's Chuck Norris tunneling into my brain. -

I got ahead of that last night, with thinned Apple Barrel British Ivy Green. I'm still going to add some bare patches and probably fade it over most of it... Looks like a well-kept park to me :/ -
So I missed out on the MPC Jeep a while back, but cruising around Bangor we happened to go to the dollar store, and I picked up a couple of toy Jeeps that are gosh darn near 1/24 scale. They're going to get militarized more... Some fixes to be done but they're quite accurate Also got a 1980s-ish GI Joe figure at an antique store for two bucks... Do I care about GI Joe (although he is an American Hero...)? No, but he had some rad guns, a Mosin Nagant and a full-size Uzi

I know it's stupid, but the only use I have for a pellet gun is plinking and field spider extermination in the summer. -
