  1. Kid, I hope for you that you get everything in line...
  2. I'd rather have a Triumph Vitesse or Dolomite Sprint than any of the classic big-threes.
  3. You can get a case of the Jeeps from the Dollar Tree website for $25! That's 25 Jeeps for $25! You'd probably have to specify you want all Jeeps, and in the end you'd be doing a lot of hacking/replacing wheels/detailing/chopping/filing, but I'm really having fun doing this conversion so far http://deals.dollartree.com/toys/action-figures-cars/Plastic-Military-Friction-General-Purpose-Vehicles-6-/773c784c784p345940/index.pro
  4. I spent nearly three hours last night working on models... First time in a few weeks I've been able to do anything on plastic for more than ten minutes. It's funny how productivity comes in spells like that.
  5. The waves keep on crashing on me for some reason But your love keeps on coming like a thunderbolt So come her, a little closer Cuz I wanna see you, baby, real close up
  6. Got a crapload of work done on my Jeeprod! The one on the right is how it started
  7. Be obsequious, purple, and clairvoyant
  8. You can also use a sheet of glass and adhesive sanding pads from a pneumatic rotary sander. You can get the pads from auto parts stores that are well-stocked like NAPA, or from Blue-Point, etc.
  9. Cut the hood open for s--ts and giggles, but also to better sculpt the firewall. Now I'm going to have to make a whole detailed underhood area, but I'm not worried. This has come a long, LONG way in one night I'm happy for today, so I'll let the glue set and come back to it tomorrow after school.
  10. Queen - Killer Queen
  11. And now it has a floor! This is the most work I've done in an hour or so in a long long time. Now I think I'll finish a bit more of the body, at least the top of the cowl and the firewall and call it a night.... Maybe
  12. Rear deck and rear cab wall done-ish... Need to fill the gap in the tailwall and in the deck-cab wall. Mockup...
  13. Broke the axle on the Bucket frame. The whole kit Z'd frame was going to go on the Jeeprod... It looked perfect. Whatever. It was chrome, anyways. Adopt, adapt, improve...
  14. Yep! Man, I love that song. I'd even go so far as to say it's their best song.
  15. So I was at a dollar store about two weeks ago. Yes, a true "one-dollar-everything" store. In the toy aisle, I found these Jeeps. If they're not 1/24 or 1/25 scale, they're hella close. It's got this weak friction drive that barely works, the rollbar, etc not even glued in, just peg-holed together. I was originally going to make a stock one and a rusty one, but that changed After some cutting, slicing, sanding, Dremelling, and filing, here's what I'm at for one of em. It's inspired by the Roadkill Jeeprod, and I've christened mine "Feelin' Jeepish." It's going to have bomber seats in it, and that's all that's really defined right now. Here's a look at some of the work done. Feel free to spit some suggestions... And yes, I have gotten pics from the Roadkill episode for some reference. One more thing that's defined... I'm not using the wheels that it came with XD
  16. I'm just bangin' on me old piano _____ __ _____ to the straight and narrow
  17. The Pig07 looks good.
  18. Always loved the Chessie Steam Special.
