Good luck everyone in attendance. Can't wait to see pics or even a walk through video, that would be real cool if it were possible.

Gymkhana Mustang

Ken Block is amazing behind the wheel. I can't imagine how much that video cost to close all those streets and freeways, even for a short time in Downtown LA. Great video. -
Oh boy. That's just not right, LOL.

Well done. That's a very nice model of the 1:1. That blue on the little Camaro looks really good.

This guy is off his rocker or is it just me.

I think it looks "fake" because of the new HD and 3D cameras. The details are MUCH more defined now. I know it's a killer rush. There's such an incredible rush when I line up on the starting line, rev the motor up to 2500 rpms, wait for the yellow light on the tree, release the line lock while nailing the throttle. I ccan't imagine the feel of free falling, then flying through a 15 foot opening in a cliff. I'd shake the dudes hand. -
I got back into modeling a llittle over a year ago. I too bought a pin vise and felt the same, WHERE HAS THIS BEEN. I use that thing A LOT. I know what you mean about try this then now I got do that. I did my first detailed diesel CAT engine. 3 hours later I found my eyes were only thing gonna stop me. I'm gonna be building my first heavy detailed car this year, my Cannonball run forum contest entry. I'll be doing the engine, battery, fuel lines, brake lines, etc. I'm a little intimidated by it, but that's the only way to improve skills, try.

To build or not to build?
Petetrucker07 replied to ProStreetOnTheStrip's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Build them. I'd love to have those for a starting line dio. -
Go to your original post, hit edit. That should let you change it. Not my type of build, but it looks really good. Very nice job.

Welcome to the forum. As my screen name says, I'm a driver too. I know what you mean about buying. I find my self looking for small local hobby shops where ever I go.

It sure seems like he got booty hurt because people weren't commenting. I build show trucks, I know not everyone on here likes that style, I accept that. Just like crusty and rusty isn't my cup of tea. Chances are I wouldn't comment. Does that mean I don't like it, not at all. I can appreciate the work and craftsmanship that went into it. When it comes to building imports, I have zero experience. Which means that I cannot give help or answer questions in most cases. Since I'm not a fan of imports, I more than likely won't look on a WIP thread. I may take a look at a finished build and appreciate the skill that went into it. Now, like what was said before, even stated by the OP, the popular car builds on here are American muscle cars. Which means the import builders are in the minority. Do the muscle cars guys bash the imports, in fun, not in any serious way. I'm sure most of us on here use the old saying, if you can't say something nice, say nothing at all. The OP needs to also realize that the cars bench section is very busy. Car builders are a majority on this forum, hence the name. So there is many many many WIP threads with builders who are retired or have the day off work or whatever and spend a lot of time at the bench. That means the cars bench section is constantly shuffling. It's nothing personal, that's just how it is.

Custom stretch chassis trucks
Petetrucker07 replied to rsxse240's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Here's a suggestion, I started doing this on the the white green pete, which was my 1st truck build in 10 years. I drilled the holes out, making them look much better in my opinion. -

Lindberg 31 Bugatti Victoria
Petetrucker07 replied to Petetrucker07's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
That is some good info. I had no idea this was such a rare car. I knew early Bugatti were a high end car for its time, even now due to its rarity. I'm gonna have research this further and decide how I'm gonna build this. This can't be a slap it together in an hour build. I'm gonna do my best to make it a great representation of the rare car. Thanks again guys. This is much appreciated.
